Its a decade now since Sol Campbell did the ultimate act of betrayal after having led the very loyal Tottenham Hotspur supporters on by letting his contract run out and making out that he would be moving to a top European club like Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Barcelona or Real Madrid. The thought of Sol Campbell moving to of all clubs Arsenal was totally unthinkable. How could a player brought up in the history and traditions of Tottenham Hotspur football club and mentored and tutored from a very young age by the great and loyal Gary Mabbutt betray Tottenham Hotspur and move to Arsenal? It could never happen and if Sol was to move it inevitably had to be to the continent and one of the European giants. Its now 10 years since the move and just as how the mention of Paul Ince evokes strong emotions and opinions in East London amongst the Hammers faithful even though its been over 20 years since Ince moved 200 miles north to Manchester United has time healed Tottenham supporters attitude towards Sol Campbell move just across North London? Paul Ince has always apologised to West Ham supporters and in his defence it could be said that he was naive but has there been any attempt by Sol Campbell towards some sort of reconcilliation with the club that gave him his chance? Has time healed the anger, hurt and most of all dissapointment of being betrayed by a person who was touted as the legendary Gary Mabbutts successor?
You can stick Sol Campbell up your arse, cos we've got Ledley at the back.. I have no strong feelings about him anymore, what he did is still **** but time's a great healer. I'd still boo him though, no one ever gets affected by the booing as much as Sol.
An intelligent footballer, a moronic individual, with zero self awareness, living in denial. He is an irrelevance.
I prefer to remember him like this. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3078620/Sol-Campbell-hits-out-at-fat-jibes.html
He's a ****. End of. I saw him in Winchester Sainsbury's a couple of years back, hiding by the fish counter. I thought it was an apt place.
Spurs to Arsenal when he said he would be going abroad and definately wouldn't join Arsenal. Left Arsenal on a free after he told Wenger he was going abroad, then promptly joined Pompey and cost Arsenal a transfer fee. Left Pompey and demanded £1.5million in image rights. Milked as much as he could from NUFC.
Not to mention Notts County. I've never really held any ill feelings towards him from the beginning only because I wasn't a football fan/spurs supporter back then. Any opinion I've had of him is based on heresay and everything he's done since: He's an arrogant, selfish money grabber who stitches up any team he can in order to get more from the next team.
My two mates helped build his house in London. I can happily say that there is one turd, some sick and a whole lot of urine in his foundations Good lads!
Isn't there a Spurs shirt supposed to be under the Emirates? There's also a number of abducted children in Arsene Wenger's basement but that's a different story.
it is fast becoming the original 606 but i cant get my head around littledinolukes tranformation into a decent humna being!
Just ask the OP about his views on Pele. I think you'll find that there is a race and sexuality theme with this poster - banned 86 times from bbc606 and already banned twice from not606
its probably that croatian lad that used to hang about on 606 that had an issue with everything that was off white
