As one of many generations of my family to support hull city I can safely say that the people who wish to sabbatage this season for their own shouty reasons I'd like to say thanks and I hope to see you in league 3 when youre stille buying your season tickets - this is why people are sick and tired of this forum and people don't post anymore
I can safely say that barring any of our staff being on Delroy Facey's books (allegedly) they don't exist, except as players, managers, and fans of other clubs.
I find it hard to understand people having a go at City fans for protesting against the name change. Suddenly, singing a song with "City", like we've done ever since I've been going, is wrong & verboten. He's gone behind your back and done this snidely. But, if you're happy with that, fair enough? I'd personally want consultation if something fundamentally was changed. He's no regard for us being there, coming from his interviews. Did you expect people to take it lying down?
I don't get this sabotage idea? Against Palace we where dreadful before the songs and chants and for a long time after, we lost that game because we played awfully, we chose the wrong team, the system didn't work and Palace where better than us, it has nothing to do with any protest.
Well at least he isn't changing the name to "The Humberside Fairies" with pink shirts and a rainbow badge to seek investment from the worlds gay population although trust me that would bring in some serious cash into the club!
Maybe people don't want to admit how bad we were against Palace last week , there has been no sabotage of the season , we have exceeded expectations until now
There always has to be someone or something to blame. Although, carrying a banner & singing a song takes the piss. We were awful last week.
There's lots of gay people but half the world is female. Isn't it about time Allam considered calling our team Hull Women? There's a lot of them in Asia I believe. Many of them would queue up to buy the blouse.
I am very much against the name change and wear my free badge and try to join in with the singing even though singing does not come naturally to me. What I will not get involved with is the damaging name calling of the Allam family. It has not helped the situation one iota. Reasoned argument may have been more effective but I am afraid the battle lines are now drawn and as with all wars both sides will lose.
Too many poodle types screeching about being the best City team ever after we beat SAFC.....it's a long season and we know from 2008/9 what can happen once the adrenaline runs out.
