http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal.../attacking-duo-join-crewe-on-loan_120934.html Is this sensible? We only ever play one striker...Austin. We have two back up strikers AJ and Chevaton , for when "the one striker" is away on Christmas shopping leave. When AJ is called to the Palace in the New Years honours list...we will still have Chevaton, and Hitchcock who will be on fire for becoming Crewe's all time highest scorer. So I suppose it is sensible
I guess. If he barely got on the field while Johnson was injured he has got no chance while he is fit and we also have Chevaton. But then again, if I was in charge he'd be on the bench.
Would like Chevanton to be on the bench tomorrow and maybe in the right situation see him given 30 minutes or so to hopefully impress. I think he has potential.
I think this shows that the kids really dont stand a chance with us. His dads the assistant manager, he's scoring for fun in the u-21's, we're crying out for a partner for Austin and he still goes out on loan. I dunno...
Precisely ................. Why is it that young upcoming players don't seem to come on in the last minutes of a game, anymore? Little runs like that are perfect for raring these youngsters, They have truckloads of enthusiasm, new found skill, fighting fit and want to impress the gaffer .................... what am I missing?
I can only think Harry wants to toughen him up a bit before introducing him to first team football, I mean more than a couple of minutes of it.
I would much prefer to have him in our squad & at lweast coming on from the bench. However, that isn't happening so it is better for the club & the player for him to go out on loan. Providing Crewe play him, that is.
