it may have been barry daines, who drop kicked the ball high out to chris jones on the left, who lobbed it to gerry armstrong who headed on to hoddle on the left corner of the box who volleyed it in. I don't think the ball touched the ground from start to finish ....it could have bneen v man city or some team in blue and , apart from hoddle , the rest are all interchangeaable, but i was there..honest, ref.

and it may have won goal of the seaason on the big match the year before hoddle won it again with a carefully placed side foot free kick against notts county or grimshaw athletic or some other oop north team,

Stalteri vs Wet Spam for 4-3. It was in the 95th minute as well at Upton Park, I went ballastic when that went in.

that goal edman scored was fascinating..we can never have a top 10 i dont ever know hpw u can class one goal to be better than the other...diffrent aspects make a good goal so isuppose its the one that makes your adrenalin flow the most...we forget the taste of most goals as time passes...surely u cannot deny that being 2 nil down at the ground of our fierciest rivals and winning 2-3 with 5 minutes remaining has to be the biggest buzz we have had in a good few years so its Kaboul for me...ohh here i go again...what about Woody's header in the CC final? pure ecstacy....or are we talking technique? Sicknote,Ginola scored some gems for us..what about Carr's goal against united when we thumped em 4 nil at the lane? im going to claim my pension by the time i fifnish this article....

what you say is true, most are personal as well as blooming fab.,
i remember when they opened the west stand and i think we tonked wolves about 6-0 and crooks scored a bullet header. it was such a fab day i cud've wept and that header was just a header , but oh so much more..

Can't believe there is not mention of Stevie Carr's wonder strike against Man U.
...on my wedding day - a nice Wedding present that was.

well, carr's thumper mentioned now. it was good though.
did not ricky v score some howling long ranger against wolves in a semifinal once?
and, it was especially yummy to have stood behind tony park's goal in the anderlecht final during the penalties.
