I will be - pleasantly - amazed if he makes the grade.

    <ok>

Yes Mulgrew can do a job here if we are stuck - but when others are fit then natural midfielders must play. I actually thought Mulgrew did ok yesterday - but we are crying out for a creative player in there that can drive the team on. We need someone a bit different with a bit of skill not just workmanlike ala Ledley, Kayal, Biton and Brown.....

    A goalscorer is a given.

Balde was bought for what £2m odd - when he signed we were told it was to offer us the option of a target man who can play up front alone in Europe - somethinig different than Hooper...Im not sure if Balde has actually featured in the CL proper?

£5m on he and Pukki would have bought Finboggson who could do what they apparetnly individually offer and more

I'd Like to see Atajic get a run up front. Cant do worse than Stokes and Pukki (neither of whom have done enough to justify a start lately). He might not be up to it, but the guy has goals in him...deserves a chance...costs nothing either

A player like Petrov was, is what we need in midfield. Big ask sadly.

A couple of times AC gave the ball away to up deep inside their own half, I was shocked on how we failed to capitalise on those chances. We need to punish teams for their mistakes but we don't have the players to do so.

Just like Juve last year (which also finished 3-0) its the difference between us and the big boys I fear. At that level the quality sides take their chances even when not playing well.....we didnt take our chances, and helped them out too by gifting them 2 goals. You just dont get away with it

Fact is i fear we punched above our weight last year. This year we were found out for what we truely are. Problem is spend £20/30m and we'll still be in the same boat to a degree.

Stolen fae the hun board (where else?) - what this shows is a complete lack of leadership at the back. No one's barking commands at the team. Forster should be raging at those ****.

Foster does not command his area ...

He is 6 7 FFS ... every corner he should make his presence felt and be reaching at least 90% of them ... either catching or punching the ball.

You seen his dire attempt to control his area for Aberdeen's goal at the weekend. His still got a lot to learn and he's gonna have some **** ups if he's to improve, because he's on the brink of the England squad he won't want to risk making mistakes which will hold him back.

    Who'd be a keeper.

Zonal marking is an awful idea. Lennon must see this by now surely?
Keeper should have been going for that too though

Zonal marking and short corners are for gays and Barcelona, and we are neither of those.

That defending looked pretty gay to me.

Will Young will have my guts for garters for saying that!

Zonal marking is fine as long as your keeper and your defenders attack the balls in their area. sadly we have neither of these

The buying or not buying a £5 or £6 m striker would have very made very little
difference last night . Zonal making is fine if done right , man to man marking
is pish if done wrong . We had no defender protecting the middle or far end of goal.
Sammi stood there but that was all. We never play well with two centre midfielders ,
Harry was right about that . Between Brown's stupidness and the people who
review matches Brown got 3 matches for nearly kicking Neymar and Ronaldo
got nothing for a slight head butt on Lustig . With the resources Celtic have
and even the resources that our TV fans say we should have , things have to
go well to beat AC Milan . Things went rotten ,chances went a begging and
goals flew in at our end with ease. Having said that our back four for the
Most part were brilliant . Izzy for example never stopped running , he has
some engine . Izzy and Lustig were both top class. Despite only two
centre mid fielders , we were not over run and in the first 30 mins I think
both Kayal and Charlie could have scored . Our two wide men and big
Sammi and Commons were typical of most of the team , they did all right .
All right wasn't or isn't good enough to beat the quality of AC. One
thing noticeable was AC players were very good at pushing Celtic players
off the ball, and very good at falling if they received a push . They got
Frees Celtic didn't , an example of their professions me . Finally wasn't
It brilliant of the police to arrest J. Forrest on the morning of a big game.
for something reported two weeks ago. Great timing and another example
of the Masonic police force in Scotland .

    Lennon out.

He was good at getting it up the huns, but they are dead now.

We need a gaffer who will demand money off Liewell and co.

When will people start to realise, Roy Makaay.

Hes 38 but we could sell Forrest, Stokes, Brown, Pukki, Balde, Izzy and Commons and get him on a 6 month loan deal for only 350k a week and a 20% share of the Parkhead gate receipt for the next 9 years.
