" Any person sporting Liverpool colours in the Home sections will be ejected from the Stadium and banned for life. Any person found to have sold tickets to persons sporting Liverpool colours will also be banned for life. This is in keeping with ground regulations.

Stewards and Matchday Security have been reminded of their duties in this regard and will be vigilant. Please help us by reporting any offenders. The club is proud of its passionate and loyal support, and wants to encourage a 'fortress' mentality for home games in keeping with this.

The club acknowledges some supporters were angered by heavy-handed stewarding in the East Stand on Saturday and is reviewing its operations. The final comment regarding wearing of Liverpool colours in the home stands basically accepts there will be LFC fans all over and the club's not goning to do anything about it. ?..
