Xmas day - Down to Ardrossan to sister in laws with mrs, father n maw in law, sister n law n her boyfriend and his parents!! Boxing Day ... my maws with mrs, my maw, my bro n his wife n his three weans! Day aftter Boxing Day ... all bevvy session with my two bezzie mates!
Did an immense pub crawl one Boxing Day. Got thrown out of the final desitnation for being too lashed up. This year i'm working the day after so it may have to be a couple of Stellas, board games with the kids and listening to the racing. It'll do!
It's a big day(St Stephen's Day) out for the pub or occasionally the races but either way pub with bets and King George and Leopardstown.The only drawback is,it tends to get messy in the evening with some pubs even closing early to avoid it!
Aye, some boozers round our way started closing early anaw. But we normally get a lock in at oor local.
I'd never drink it on draft but the bottles are nice for the very rare occasions that i drink indoors.
I got a broken nose on St Stephens day once. My mate was gobbing off and someone chinned him. The driver who was taking him to hospital had left his jacket in the pub so i went back to get it and got a thumping myself
We usually do a Christmas eve booze up down the bar, dinner with the family on Christmas day, followed by a booze up at a friends, Boxing day go to the Bellclassico, then booze up, the day after recover. Went to the bar 3 or 4 years ago i think it was on Christmas day to meet up with my ex's family. It was 4 in the afternoon, they were the only ones in the bar and were seriously smashed. I bet Jesus was looking down in disgust, shaking his fist.
