Anyone tried Royal Navy Pussers Rum? Smooth as ****, best dark rum I've ever had.
Also Southern Comfort with Baileys on the rocks is lush.
    Not cocktails but........

By popular demand, I always make a batch of snowballs at our New Year's parties, made with vodka, advocat, lemonade and a healthy squeeze of fresh lime..

1st alcoholic drink I was ever given. About 9 years old and it was New Years Eve. Projectile vomit ensued.

I wouldn't give one of mine to a kid as I make them very potent. I actually do a separate version for any youths there, including my two youngest, which doesn't have the vodka, and much reduced advocat..

Stayed at Raffles in Dubai in September and while there we had to try the famous Raffles Singapore Sling and their counterpart the Dubai Sling, they were both delicious.

Don't ask for one of them in Raffles. Singapore mate, you'll need a second mortgage to pay for it, I had a small beer and a JD and coke there recently and it cost me 28 dollars, couldn't enjoy a drink at those prices.
We ended up somewhere a bit more "traditional" for want of a better word ,where the drinks were still pricey but enjoyable, the food was like a bush tucker trial and the rats scuttling around your feet took a bit getting used to but it was a good day out overall.
