Villa looking rubbish. However I remember last season down there, absolute disaster for us.

Alti to deffo get his 1st goal against this defence. Hope we go for it and play two up front tho.

Fair point. Maybe I'm watching him having one of his better games and I'm seeing things through rose tinted specs. It's just a bit frustrating to see him play well and create good chances.

Villa making 3 subs at the same time ....... always looks like panic by a manager imo.

Villa are looking worse the longer the game goes on but perhaps the subs will make a difference.

Yep, the subs made a difference <laugh>

Sess missed his 2nd sitter, was taken off and West Brom just went backwards.

Looks like Villa might just nick it now.

Yep - Poor game for Sessegnon.

TBH, I think West Brom will score again ............ I reckon Villa will try settling for a point and sit back.

    Cue another Villa goal <laugh>

How dull is it that a mag comes on here every so often and rates threads with 1*

And they like to say we're obsessed

There seems to be a few who come on, make very little contribution then complain that the place is **** ........ I don't get that either.

    The Mags are shameless tbh.

I was puzzled to see that he's not playing that trio, its the only reason they stayed up last year. Their squad is dreadful if you took them away.

i cant see us getting anything though unfortunately.

Excellent - we can just kick **** out of them like Rooney did on Sunday and only get yellow cards. Injure 5 or 6 of their players so they're down to 8 or 9 men and it should allow us to win the match!

Chances are he'll send one of ours off because of the press he's had surrounding the Rooney incident!

Got to say, a midfield trio of Catts, Ki and Colback will be very competitive and feisty. Playing with either Johnson or Giacherinni as the forward supporting midfielder, in a free role behind 2 forwards in Altidore and Fletcher, I can see us scoring past the Villa defence I witnessed last night.

Really looking forward to watching the game at the weekend.
