I know we're all enraged about the pathetic red card but there's another match approaching.

Villa have a game, at West Brom, tonight which I'd like to see them lose ..... West Brom aren't going down but Villa could.

They've just had a run of 5 games when they only scored against one team, Cardiff, so have slipped after a good start.

I think we'll start with Altidore playing behind Fletcher and take a bit of the load off him, he looked a bit too isolated at Stoke.

If Cattermole is fit I'd prefer to see him instead of Seb, I thought Seb allowed Adam to stroll away from him for the goal and allow him way too much space.

We need everyone to concentrate for 90 minutes, as we did against Man City, so we're not having to go chasing the game.

This'll be my first live match since the derby so I'm hoping for another good result.

As long as Cuellar isn't playing against Benteke. Their pace up front will cause us problems, but as long as we're careful in possession hopefully they won't be hitting us on the counter attack

I'd like to see ki played further up the pitch into an AM roll (his natural position).

I've no doubt he'd do well there but I think Gus is trying to get us to play into CM from defence, which relies on Ki being deep. Unless Catts or Jack can take the ball there but I don't think they can look after it as well as Ki.

Smug, I'm making my season's debut at Villa. Praying Wes is allowed to play.

I called for Jack to be moved back to midfield for months, now it's happened I'm not going to cross my arms in satisfaction. I expect jack to step up now he's got his place. I've also seen nothing wrong with Cattermoles forward passing. I think together they can more than provide positive passing out from defence to the 6 players who should be making themselves available (st,am,lw,rw,lb,rb). Our new style would require to Ki to keep dropping deep from AM into CM anyway. He's definitely too deep for me in front of the defence, he's not good enough defensively for a start. he's wasted where he's playing and Fletch is having to drop deep to get involved.

I think he will and we'll need him with their pace.

We have away section tickets so I'll be able to relax and enjoy it properly for a change ........ hopefully watching us win.

Never seen us win at Villa and no ticket this year.

Might be a good omen now I come to think of it...

Brown's free to play until the decision on the appeal is made as far as I know.

Catts did City, Southampton & Stoke.

I was just thinking would things have been different if Poyet had been appointed earlier. Sess is a good play maker to have in reserve. Him and Borini could have played havoc with defenses.

I think Poyet only wants players who are totally committed to Sunderland.

As much as I loved to watch Sess, when he was on form, I never felt he really wanted to be here.

i'm not sure mate, it was debated so heavily on here and i still dont know (we didnt have 30+ threads like enemy has had mind) my gut tells me we have better in giacc, a very similar player with more class, sess is easily west broms best player which pains me because they are no better than us in reality.

Think we ****ed up selling him to a rival, do i think we ****ed up on the fee? no.

January will be very interesting, gus might have liked to have sess at his disposal but he hasnt. we will move onward and upward i hope, some of the names being brandished about take my optimism up

I'd love to see a 'Wes Brown' tackle in this game to see what the referee would do.
