Isn't this the trouble with 'Scousers' ........ there's a myth that they're very witty, with very little evidence, and they all believe it.

That 'Bender' crack, like various other football chestnuts, has been around for years but he says it like he'd just made it up.

The true football wits were people like Docherty, Shankly, Jock Stein, etc none of whom are 'witty little Scousers' as far as I know.

Little Bob Paisley was another one who could cut people down with a quick one-liner.

It really annoys me when people like Lawrenson repeat Shankly-isms as if they're their own.

It's time for a clear out, all the old one's need to go, including that mag muppet...

Read some things about G Neville, seems to be liked, is he a step in the right direction?

    Couldn't agree more.

Is it just me mate or do you roll your eyes when they start with the tired old, "Oh yeah, he used to kick me up in the air whenever we played his team back in the olden days." <doh>

There has to be some pundits coming through, Mickey Gray when i've seen him is canny, mind i've seen Don Hutchinson and Craig Burley, oh dear..

But you are correct, Lawro, Hansen etc are all 'back in my day'...Aye alreet back in your day, now **** off and die, and let the game evolve along with the pundits.

It must be dreary having to keep up this pretence all the time, no idea what people get out of it tbh.

Because I'm realistic it makes me a mag?

Whoever disagrees with the fans on here gets called mag.

Ok lawro is clueless and I hate him... Am I a Sunderland fan again now?
