I'm telling you , NH would do well to stay at Sauber , Merc want him as he is German ( hence the FI interest ) & Who would touch Lotus with a Barge pole ?
Lotus will be fine, so long as you don't have a kimi-esque salary. Maldo or Perez who can bring money to the team will be fine. They are attractive as they are one of the top teams on the track so you will at least get a competitive car, though maybe not so much salary! A driver will say they'll do anything for a competitive car (well, in public they will, in private it's still down to how much will they get paid)
Brawn to Ferrari as Team Principal? That would be amazing, a true leader who knows what he's doing and and unlike Domenicali, actually has balls. http://www1.skysports.com/f1/news/1...o-problem-if-ferrari-moved-to-strengthen-team
"While we're on the subject of frankly tedious sagas, it's worth another mention of the mooted Lotus investment deal with the US-Middle Eastern Quantum consortium. This has still not been completed and the delays are threatening to cost Lotus not only their number-one choice of driver to partner Romain Grosjean - Nico Hulkenberg, who it is said has tired of it and committed to Force India - but also their second, Pastor Maldonado, who is also in talks about taking his £30m to Sauber or, yes, Force India. "On Friday, Lotus team boss Eric Boullier said the team still had hopes the deal would happen. 'There is still some discussion ongoing and now between bankers,' said Boullier, who is merely an employee; the deal is being hashed out by his bosses at the team's investment group owner Genii Capital. 'The process is not fully completed, but I think part of it has been done which is a good sign for the weekend. We hope obviously that everything is closed by early next week.'"
According to AMuS Hülkenberg goes to Force India: http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/...ueckt-huelkenberg-zu-force-india-7923329.html http://www1.skysports.com/f1/news/1...rg-has-signed-a-deal-to-return-to-force-india
As disappointed as I am that Hulkenberg is going to be stuck with Force India again, it will be good to see him up against Perez should they sign him. Button got the better of Checo over a season, but certainly had his hands full and wasn't particularly convincing, it will be interesting to see how Hulkenberg handles him by comparison.
Hülkenberg disagrees btw: http://www.motorsport-total.com/f1/...-force-india-da-ist-nichts-dran-13112419.html
Given that Sutil has been boasting for weeks that he has a contract, you would think the contract is with Force India. His contract might be with Sauber (or any team that didn't Sutil-proof the room during contract negiotiations). I don't think Sutil should stay in F1, certainly not at Force India. For all the criticism we give Di Resta, he was the better driver this year and it would be a big shame if Sutil kept his seat and Di Resta didn't.
Whitmarsh has half confirmed that Perez is going to Force India Hope he gets a drive next season, he easily deserves one, and like Silver has already mentioned alongside Hulk would be a hell of a lineup. So the likely big moves (which aren't confirmed) Lotus: Gro and Mald FI: Perez and Hulk Sauber: Sutil and Gutierrez (Sirotkin Friday driver) Caterham: choice of 5 (Kov, Ericson, Frijns, Garde, Pic) Marussia: Bianchi and Chiltonand 'officially' please log in to view this image
