He has left the club by mutual consent. So assuming we didn't have to pay him off in full we have freed up some money.

What a waste of an opportunity.

Another arrogant "footballer" whose ego got in the way of his ability ... gets a chance to revive his career at a massive club yet still behaves like a schoolboy ... no sympathy

You'd have thought he would have grabbed this opportunity, and was full of potential, but his attitude stank.

More wages freed up to go towards the one or two quality players we need to bring in in January.

I'm beginning to feel as good as I have done in years about us at the moment.

The club should ask Colin to pay back Hall's transfer fee ... bet Southend couldn't believe their luck! Amazed that Colin bought him then didn't play him ... makes you wonder.

Pity really. He was clearly talented, but something went badly wrong. C'est La Vie. Let's hope he doesn't come back to bite us

Not a chance in hell. He'll never play championship football unless with wallies and we only have to play them once more in our lifetimes unless a cup match

Just for once MTMB, I think this one is down to Hall himself. He clearly has talent, otherwise we'd never have got him from Southend. That he didn't take his chance in a position where we've beens creaming out for someone since we sold Snoddy is purely down to him.

Not sure I know what went wrong. But views on here and his stupid quote on twitter suggest that his ego got the better of him. Silly boy!!

He probably very easily gets overexcited and therefore creams a lot<laugh>
Or maybe he just loves to be creaming ;)

Great to see the back of him. Great to see the wages being freed up for a decent player.

.... unless of course, he had a settlement! If so, there's no more money in the pot, so don't get too excited!

By mutual consent probably indicates he didn't get paid off in full. Somewhere between a months salary and half his contract depending how bad the breach of discipline was. There is more to this than 140 letters on a twatter post.

If he breached his contract then there is no way he would get fully paid out. My guess is he got half of what he was due and signed a compromise agreement that means we won't find out what went on or how much he received.
