What the hell makes you lot think I'm wumming for Christ's sake - don't you like other poster's opinions? Musty - if you don't like it here because I am, you have the option to piss off as well - OK?
Need I say more. If that is not a post on a little wind up, then I don't know what is sparkey. Nothing wrong with a little wum, banter is all about winding each other up, but for some reason, some people don't like the word wum, but that is what it is. And I am sure you know, but for those who don't WUM = Wind Up Merchant = someone who specializes in teasing. Nothing wrong with it, its all about the way in which someone wums is where the issues come into play.
The best wummer I have ever seen on any 606 Forums was Clingo. His posts were usually so cleverly composed it was often difficult to notice the wum, which is not to infer that all his posts were of a wum nature. He was never abusive,or insulting, however, which accounts for his continued wide spread popularity. It's extremely difficult to wum without eventually becoming tiresome, repetitive, predictable and very boring, and Clingo was none of those. The top class wummer is akin to being an artist, and they are few and very far between.
I think the term "WUM" is too wide spread. Anyone that visits this board and starts expressing opinions is usually flamed down as being a WUM. I think this needs to be nipped in the bud. As for the comment made by musty, that will be the last please. This forum is going to be turned around, and comments like that don't help. Welcome aboard Swanselona. Nice to have some more help.
Sorry sparks if u took offence to my wum reference, it was not meant in an insulting manner. Was meant in regards to the teasing post which is how i read it.
VETCH - there used to be one available of something else throbbing, but it got moderated. I think it was Minxy wot dun it......... Swansa - I am not easily offended and you certainly didn't offend with you wum accusation. I come on here to chat with a competitve slant with opposition posters and not back pat like some sycophantic popularity chaser wishing to ingratiate himself. I will always give credit where it's due and have already said you thoroughly deserved to win, but I do wish people wouldn't get their arses out when something else is written that isn't to their liking. As for Musty - the guy's been through the mill on here several times with other posters, and I can begin to see the reason why. Being told to piss off tends to offend more than being told you're a wum.
It wasn't to my dislike Sparks, I just liked your comment about us all puff and no huff, or whatever it was and thought it amusing for you to say that when your game was pretty similar in terms of chances I thought you were just teasing, hence me saying must try harder. Ah well, we won, thats all that matters now to get ready to wear red....no wait, your red today, so whatever colour united are wearing as can't have you on same points as us
Sparkey's not a wum lads, he's just miserable old boot, and he'll be even more of a Meldrew come 6 pm!.................
Musty please cut out the negative posts to other board posters. Getting fed up of deleting pointless posts now.
Anyway, I was at the game and I hate sayings like"it was only an own goal". That goal came after a lengthy period of pressure form the Swans and the cross (from Pozuelo?) was very dangerous. If Hughes hadn't have OG'd it then Bony would probably have scored imo - and Chico should have anyway. The second goal was worthy of winning any game. Hate to say it but Cardiff were good value for their draw today too.
