I understand that he's a bit of a dickhead but he is also showing signs of becoming a very good footballer.

Do you think you may have made a mistake in letting this one go?

In terms of talent, yes. Don't want trouble makers at the club though. Similar situation to Pogba.

I understand you not wanting trouble makers but at times it is a better idea to help turn that persons life around if the player is worth it talent wise.

Sir Alex apparently gave him several chances but got fed up in the end.

I have a feeling that letting him go may turn out to be a very bad idea but who knows, if he really is the bad lad that he is known to be it may have been the right choice.

Seems like his performances have gotten better the further away from Manchester he has moved. Now he's in London he's away from his childhood mates and haunts, which seems to be what was getting him in trouble in the first place.

Looks like he will fulfil SAF's prediction: "A brilliant footballer, Brilliant ability, Top class ability, Needs to get away from Manchester and start a new life". Shame it won't be with us, but I think as long as he was in Manchester he was always going to fall back into old habits. Maybe we'll bring him back in a few years once he's matured and grown out of it?

Tis true, sometimes players need to move for reasons not football. The move has been the catalyst for his improvement. Just buy him back when he gets his head right<laugh>

That's assuming he does get his head right. There's a fair chance he will simply wait till he's established at West Ham then make a load of new mates in London and start acting up again. Much like Gazza, who seemed to collect a new load of drinking buddies at every club he went to.

Btw UIR, West Ham have denied we have a specific refusal or release clause in his contract.

Because it was not a football decision. Bit of a lame question tbh. Ravels off field troubles have been well documented.Needed to get out of Manchester due to negative influences around him. Fergie told Sam that if he got his head right he would have a genius on his hands.

hmmm UTD seem to not be ready to commit for Morrison, not sure this is the case of Pogba, I think we simply didn't matched Juv offer trying to keep our existing structure wages for kids or give the player enough insurance that he will play more when we bring back Scholes instead (which gave Pogba the wrong indication), and we end up losing one of our best youngest talents in an area we need the most ..

It really raises the question, would he have been as good had he stayed in Manchester United? Had he stayed in Manchester he would have remained in the same disciplinary situation from both the club and the law. He's had to start fresh in London and he's obviously let him just focus on his football. No one doubted he had the talent to become a top top footballer, we just doubted his ability to focus on only football.

Not sure how Pogba would be considered a trouble maker. He wanted more money and first team football. We didn't give it to him, so he left and got both. Now we're crying out for a player like that in midfield.

    spot on regarding Pogba <ok>
    a big loss tbh :(
tbh I kind blame Sir Alex too, we should had given the guy a chance instead of going back to scholes and we should had amended our wage structure a bit and I blame the board for that
