Goochie / Davies Headband is away and has asked me to put this up today. 1 - Livermore 2 - McShane 3 - Huddlestone Hard to pick three this week. As Chazz keeps saying we need more from Huddlestone. Even though I put him third he doesn't do enough for me. For all his talent he doesn't boss a game like Jedinak does for Palace. Livermore gives us a bit more drive and I'd like to see Quinn in the middle alongside the other two when he's fit because he can get things going too. We lack someone to drive things forward. Huddlestone's passing is wasted when he only gets possession on halfway because we can't open teams up.
Livermore McShane Davies (only 'cause he didn't do much wrong) The rest were really quite average. The lack of creativity was shocking, but its not like we've played incredibly well for the past few games. Elmo is a player screaming to be dropped. We know he's decent but his form is awful at present. It was clear Palace had the beating of us in the air, why we insisted on putting poor crosses in all game was beyond me. Where is the incisiveness that got us all so excited before? And there was a severe lack of options when our players are on the ball. We're really missing a fit Aluko and Brady, players who desperately want the ball.
Let's be honest, we were never creating a lot going forward. All season we've been scraping 1-0 wins without creating anything else.
Crystal Palace were actually terrible, except defending the box from a poor aerial assault well. We were just completely unable to make them pay for being useless.
Boyd (only one who ever looked like scoring/great corners) Macca (put the fear of God into Chamakh and sent him to the showers with a triple headbandectomy...we'll miss him) Davies (why was Koren captain?) Hard to leave Thudd out but with all that talent he actually created very little. Too bad he doesn't have more to work with up front.
Livermore McShane Davies. I can't understand why SB didn't play Rossy at right back, as again their goal came from a space at the right back position.
Livermore McShane Gedo Don't know how anyone can vote Huddlestone today, what a ****ing donkey. Worst and most half arsed performance from a city player since Daniel cousin.
How can anyone vote Livermore!! He was ****ing ****. He should be bombing forward not standing ten yards from TH. The criminal offence from him? 87 minutes 50/50 with Jedinak and he bottled it!! Got a mate who's a proper cockney Arsenal fan, said when we signed these two for CM. Like all spurs players " they flatter to deceive" Spot ****ing on. Basics. Never start a game at a slow tempo, you'll never recover. Even SB keeping them in longer at half time couldnt fire them up. Too many poor performers. Boyd was dogshit all day. Koren did nowt but did nowt wrong, while Boyd made **** ups. Bringing Gedo on and making him go wide right and dropping to the halfway line is a waste of a genuine goal poacher. Sagbo stunk the place out. totally anonymous first half. Only got better when Graham came on. Macca struggled with Jerome, why didnt Curtis swop over and mark him? Was Brady fit? Or just gash? Rushed bak when we didnt need to earlier on in the season. Figgy MOTM? eh? Why didnt SB bring Faye on and smash Jerome. Saying that Rosy was my MOTM. Some good challenges and a cracking volley. MOTM Rosy. no one else
Is this... Is this a joke? Livermore was the only player moving after passing the ball, and looking to spread it around. Boyd was one of the few others that actually put in a shift, and took on his man. He was in a different league to the non-existent Koren Sagbo was very intelligent in his play and looking to link up with others, he was just unlucky to be paired with an unfit Brady and then a useless Graham. Figgy was good, and actually managed to get to the by-line unlike any of our wingers so far this season.
