this is a fact now. van pissy is not near the level he was last year and his return playing for team who create as much as utd used to, then his tally is relatively poor. Rooney, not worth a mention tbh English and therefore overrated. only aguero comes close right now, but again in a team full of superstars his tally is average. if Luis ends up not getting banned then it's clear he will be top scorer by a mile, then if his wc is decent we could very well be getting 100m for him. discuss.
Took a beating today, but he got on with it, got his head down and played on. Only got back in the city on Friday(?), I think this is a trait of Suarez's which is often overlooked, he put in a phenomenal shift today and there were no antics from him. Fantastically placed free-kick, spotted the gap but had the quality to execute it. Best Striker in the PL? Maybe, maybe not. Who cares, As long as he carry's on banging them in for us. 26 goals in his last 28. Shame he won't be here beyond next Summer, but hey Luis, put us in a position where we'll be able to replace you.

Easily the best player in the country IMO. Its not just his ability, its his commitment to each game, the drive to keep going for every single sniff of touching the ball. Since adding goals (not that he ever that short) he is the real deal IMO. Shame he'll leave should one of the Spanish giants come knocking but, as my status says "he's our ****" for now Edit: and I'm a massive Ozil fan before someone points at him. Don't even think about RvP, fantastic player but he doesn't have the work ethic or flair of Suarez.
Pointless thread (in a good way). Every man and his dog know's Suarez is the best striker in the PL, although they may hate to admit it. For me he's the 3rd best player in the world right now due to consistency. The guy is literally a machine, doesn't suffer from jet lag, doesn't get injured, runs like an athlete, is a complete workaholic, and is even getting better Crazy ****ing man that scores crazy ****ing goals (for fun).
All different goals too. Headers from 20 yards, scoring while slipping over, mazy dribbles, shots from distance, one-on-ones, free-kicks, set pieces.. He is totally unpredictable, I've never seen a player like him in a red shirt. He's just amazing to watch when he's at his best and he is a class above any one in our team.
picture this. he finishes top scorer, we get in the top 4, he has a brilliant wc standing out in a class of his own, it's very possible we could be seeing the 1st 100m+ player when he eventually goes Madrid. quite possible imo
To be honest Red, I'm hoping for more than 60. Clearly worth more if you look at current figures for top players. 60mil would be disappointing imo.
I always thought he would've took top scorer last year if not for his bans, I'm certain of it now tbh
