Watford v Bolton Vicarage Road Stadium, Saturday 23rd November 2013 Kick Off 3.00pm GMT Injuries seem to be making all the news just at a time when Watford are looking to put a poor run of results behind them. The players who are doubtful or not available does not look good, so it is very difficult to guess what team will play. Zola had earlier in the week confirmed Lloyd Doyley, Almen Abdi, Reece Brown and Tommie Hoban were all definitely out while he claimed Essaid Belkalem and Ikechi Anya were doubts. Now Troy Deeney, Gabriele Angella and Nyron Nosworthy may not be fit to play, and Lewis McGugan is suspended. For Bolton there also seem to be doubts. Kevin McNaughton, Craig Davies,Adam Bogdan, Joe Riley, Mark Davies and Stuart Holden and Marc Tierney all look as if they will be missing. Facts: Watford: All but one of their six league wins have been against bottom-half clubs. Bolton: Dougie Freedman's outfit are yet to defeat a club higher than 14th The Trotters have only registered one league maximum at Vicarage Road, when they triumphed 1-0 in the Premier League on 3 February 2007; Nicolas Anelka scoring the winner. Referee: Brendan Malone Assistant Referees: Neil Davies, Ian Fissenden Fourth Official: Elliott Kaye Malone has never previously refereed a fixture involving either Bolton or Watford, and Saturday's match will be just the third time he has been in charge of a Championship game this season.
Blimey, not feeling a very confident bunny at the moment - will have to calm myself down to a 2-1. I am going to miss the game and have a rest this week-end. Corporate madness is beginning to take it's toll and I need to keep away from stressful environments.... Nice one OFH 5*'s from me.
The view from a couple of Bolton fans: "I don't know their injury situation, if any, but if they have a full squad then Watford have far too much threat up front for us to cope. Sadly, I fear our run will end in a 3-1 defeat. Not pessimistic but realistic." Well we know that we certainly don't have a full squad to pick from.
Thank goodness we've now finished the international breaks and can get back to some exciting football.
The team line up will probably make interesting reading but i hope Battocchio and Acuna get their chance..and i'm also hoping to see Mensah on the bench! I expect Hall to start and of course, i predict a 3-1 win
Feeling nervous U' Orns At least I will actually be there next week to feel and live the pre-match tension
Interesting team for today: : Almunia (c); Cassetti, Nosworthy, Ekstrand; Faraoni, Battocchio, Thorne, McEachran, Pudil; Forestieri, Acuna subs Bond (GK), Bellerin, O'Nien, Fabbrini, Iriney, Mensah, Smith.
