published by Salut Sunderland, a longish article, but informative, the readers responses to the article were decent also. I read the salut pages regularly, and 99% of the time find myself in agreement with them, this article in question is days old, but valid none the less.

    worth the read.

Title should read liverpool, not liverpoo, actually take your pick, dont know how to rectify the title anyway.

That was a good read, Bill. Thanks.

His last paragraph ehoes the feelings of most on here, I guess.

And this bit is well worth bearing in mind when a new rumour hits the streets . .

    Great read thanks Bill.

It would seem that no club has any chance of keeping their potential targets secret......

"Forget the easy pot shots at bits of the press we may dislike; someone, it has seemed to me all along, has been briefing like mad. I have no inside track but suspect the hand of an agent".

I suppose that the only way to do it (and I'm sure it happens) is to bung the agent extra cash to keep the proposed transfer quiet.
