That's the intention anyway. As this site only uses the IP addresses for internal identification* of users it's pretty pointless. *Other sites if they have a persistent spammer or serious issues from someone with a karoo IP address would contact karoo and ask them to block the user from accessing the site. Unless it's the police requiring us to hand over information I've only ever seen us use the IP addresses on here to match new accounts up to previously banned users so they can be banned before they cause another problem.
