I was listening to Radio Norfolk yesterday and they were asking "With the 50th anniversary of Dr Who, if you could go in the TARDIS and bring back a former Norwich City player from NCFC's history to play against Newcastle, who would you bring back?" You also needed to have a very good reason to bring them back and could not say you'd bring them back because they were a brilliant player. For example I chose to bring back Ian Crook for his Defence Splitting passes as I remember he could turn defence into attack with just 1 pass and would find players 30 - 40 yards away and could place the ball on a pin with his passing. Hooper, and RVW would massively benefit from his range of passing. Who would other Not 606er's bring back & why?

Steen Nedergaard. Every time. No explanation necessary.

Well if there was room to bring back two at the same time, it would have to be MacDougall and Boyer, still the best strike force we´ve ever had.

Martin O'Neill for his influence. He had an instant impact during both his playing spells.

    Malky. In the dugout <whistle>

Erm, if it was for the Newcastle game we're probably a little short in the defensive midfield department, so can I go all the way back to March and grab Johnson, or perhaps Tettey from a few weeks back or last December?

I loved watching Martin Peters back in the 70s, but I have to agree with Chippy and go for Chris Sutton, who always seemed to have time on the ball, even in the midst of the opposition defence. Kevin Drinkall would be my second choice.

Grant Holt, 2011/12 edition. If we had a 15 goal a season striker this season we'd definitely stay up. Not to say RVW or Hooper won't get 15 goals (though it's looking unlikely) but it'd be nice to have it assured.

Keith Bertschin - Grant Holt's muscular approach only faster - he looked like one of the frantic robots from the FIAT car advert of the time! Stuck some amazing goals away and ran to tire defences out so others could score!
