He has been out for ages, so I doubt he is going to start straight away. Probably come on as a sub.

Evening Gunners. Don't think it will be a repeat of last season's fixture!

I reckon it will be a tight game. Soton are good up front and their front three hunt in packs to close down the oppo defenders and midfield. But I think we've got the technical edge to pass through their front line and expose their defence, which to be honest hasn't really been tested this season.

Still think it will be close though and I'm going for the classic one-nil to the Arsenal <ok>

Hello Gooners got to agree with PISKIE think you maybe a bit to good technically for us, but I think it will be tight. Arsenal playing well 2-0. Arsenal not at there best 1-1.

    Wilshire out?

We need a good display here to send a message to the rest of the pack that we are better than we were at Old Trafford. I can't help feeling that we missed an opportunity there to cement a leading position to keep us ahead at the turn of the year. We need a display such as against Liverpool. Also very important not to underestimate the Saints who seemed to be prepared to attack - which may also play into our hands. Looking forward to, perhaps, one of the most important games of the season.

If Liverpool don't win at Everton (quite likely) then we can extend our lead back to at least 4 points again. Must win.

Will Koscielny be fit for this?

Hopefully he's in the mood for sliding around in the box like usual :)
