Chuffed to bits with this news! Cabaye is a brilliant midfielder with lots of potential. Maybe this will also slow down Bartons constant ramblings. Ben Afra, Cabaye, Tiote and Barton in midfield is very attractive IMO and I can't wait to see who arrives next. Keep up the great work Pardew!

Oh of course forgot about Jonas. It's good too have all these good foreign players coming in. Even though it will make the local EDL members cry.

It won't be. MA just likes to do his business quietly, as Fat Freddy found to his cost. If this Cabaye is as good as they say, it's a steal to get him for £4.5m, because we knew of a get out clause in his contract. MA must have a great spy network, as we are also in for the Swansea left back, Taylor, as he has a £1m get out clause in his contract. MA and DL are relatively new to the game of running a football club, but seem to be learning well. Unfortunately, he is hopeless at PR, and as he is said to be a bit of a recluse, it is something we will probably just have to get used to.
