    Icons.com, the world’s leading website for signed football merchandise, is looking for an intern to work on their site over the summer. Icons conduct signing sessions with the world’s best footballers, past and present, and recently have undertaken signings with Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Maradona, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez for example. They supply the likes of Harrods, Liverpool FC and Saks Fifth Avenue and have on-going promotional partnerships with Sky Sports, ESPN and FourFourTwo. They require someone to join their ever expanding signed memorabilia business for two to three months over the summer of 2011.

    Responsibilities
    # Updating player profiles and site articles
    # Picture research and uploading new picture galleries to the site
    # Adding new products copy and images through the content management system
    # Site merchandising and promotion
    # Copywriting for adverts and promotions
    # Contributing to Icons’ various social media outlets – Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Youtube
    # Contributing to the regular Icons’ newsletter

    Skills and job requirements
    # Perfect written and spoken English.
    # Love for, and in-depth knowledge of, football
    # Sub-editing skills and fact checking
    # Experience of using social media tools
    # Excellent phone manner
    # Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook and an ability to use a content management system
    # Basic design skills using Photoshop for cropping, resizing and uploading
    # Great attention to detail and extremely diligent

    Rate
    # Offering £200 a week
    # Based in Kentish Town, London, UK
