The best English keeper finally gets his chance to prove it.

Hope it adds a few Brazilion to his price tag.

Good news all round, he deserves his chance, hopefully he gets more game time than Alan Thompson did.

Apparently he played well and was blameless at both goals. Made a good save in the first half.

i have just watched the highlights of both goals. my take on them would be that although you couldn't blame him for them he will be disappointed. I thought he reacted a little late for the first and the second he could have came out quicker and also stood taller for longer

Just seen them now. I'd say blameless for the first and shoulda stood up longer terra second but overall an extra £2.3m on the asking price.

He's put himself in a strong position...however, if Hart becomes no1 at man city again then Foerster will move to backup choice.

If Forster is not standing tall enough at 6ft 7 inches . God help most other keepers .

The English sun back page headline was , you can't rely on a keeper that comes from Scotland , what about the 10 fckers that played infront of him ????

All the other things I've read about the game said Foster played well. Apparently Hart is in goal against Germany. That will help Foster's cause more than if he plays in the game. They will hump England.

Hope England get what they deserve against the Germans .
It was a kind of weird when Forster was in goals for them, I didn't want him to
concede any goals, yet England rarely get beat when they don't concede goals .

I really hope you're taking the piss!!

I have yet to see a team lose without conceding a goal in a friendly.
