He definitly needs to cut out the 'over the top play acting' though all players do a bit of it now and then, Bale, Ronaldo, Michu, RVP, etc, etc!............<ok>

I think you'll find that anyone can use any forum Bob. If I want to post on more than one then I will, especially when I consider all the sarcastic comments I've seen today. I think I'll abide by the rules and leave when I chose now.

How come you're posting on here then, that's not like you ?

Ps, I think Chico is great

He's becoming an embarrassment with his diving etc. hopefully ML and the British lads have warned him to wise up as I for one hate seeing that kind of behaviour.

Why close it's a genuine question , Chico is a very good centre half regardless of what you may read in the press , but not a very good actor I'm sorry to say. Whether he'll replace Ash as No 1 is debatable as he has a tendency to go walk about and lacks a little self discipline. He's gives total commitment but does play to the crowd on occasion, better than Chaulker imo as he can actually play football on the floor (if you're looking for a comparison) but ask again in a couple of years' time .

Laudrup needs to stamp this out. Although Chico may even take this kind of metaphorical "stamping" as a chance to fall over clutching some part of his anatomy!

Chico? Great player. One of the top centre halfs in the Premiership. He does play act a bit but so did Michael Chopra, Jay Boothroyd.........................

    What PGF said.

As for the OP, I'm afraid that 'genuine' and you in same sentence did make me laugh.

Oh dear I'll be accused of not being 'welcoming' again. <laugh>

But isn't a centre half supposed to be tough and uncompromising? Chico does himself no favours. We also bitched about Bothroyd falling on his arse at every opportunity. Chopra was hacked down by many a defender but I don't think you can accuse him of play acting in the same vein as Chico.

It's up to you if you want to be stereotypical. Some of us can think outside the box.

So you want a centre back to be nice to all attacking players and give them a kiss? So explain to me thinking outside the box? In this instance where Chico falls down after the most innocuous challenge. What is the centre backs role in your team?

You just made that up - your words not mine. Are you stooping to the point that you come on to the Swansea City forum and make things up - and expect to be taken seriously?

How about answering the question I asked? My response was to your comment about thinking outside the box. To which I asked "So explain to me thinking outside the box?"

If you are going to change the argument then it would be polite. However, if you are trying to score points and not listen to another point of view then ignore at your leisure.

Ok, explain your comment "Thinking outside the box" A centre half is usually the hardest man on the pitch and to fall over as often as Chico apparently does not support this theory. So I am wondering what outside the box activities Chico is employing.
