Unlike endlessly posting, and arguing with each other, on here. That's all fair enough but you can't criticise people for not understanding when you can't even give a brief summary of the 'issues'. It comes across that you're not exactly sure what the issues are if you don't mind me saying.
The insecure latchers on are just as prevalent in Italy as here. Milan, Juventus, Inter fans in very village, town and city,to an extent which makes this country seem quite healthy in comparison. Curiously, non for Chievo.
As three previous replies show, a brief summary that would explain isn't possible. The best you'll get is the campaign blog I've pointed to before.
That's what I thought tbh. Many clubs have poor PR, or stadium issues, but the situation at Hull seems to be incredibly contentious. It seems that the main problem is that the owner is a pompous millionaire who doesn't see things the same way as some of the supporters. I think that's how football is in many ways these days. The era of a wealthy local fella trying his best is over for us all.
I don't really buy that, it really does seem that people are very angry but not 100% sure why. If the issues are as clear as you claim it shouldn't be impossible to state them.
It's complicated as it's not just the clubs PR that's piss poor. The most credible PR in this has come from the CTWD group.
It's impossible in a summary. You need to go look on the web to get the bigger picture, this is just getting circular.
The whole situation's circular No one seems to be able to say what the problems are and prefer to believe that only they could possibly understand. Fair enough.
It's more that he doesn't see any need to inform them of what he plans to do with his football club. And there was me thinking I was a stakeholder after putting my money in for well over 40 years, many of which were very fallow years when he was unaware of our existence. There wouldn't even have been a club for him to rescue..........
What nobody will tell you is that the mods on here are all biased against the name change and think they can run the club better than the owners and anyone who stands up against them is allowed to be ridiculed and vilified. They think that by double and triple posting on certain websites to boost up their cause is also O.K and they will defend that as being fair or at least be vague about their answers. The City till I die group presented a petition with god knows how many names from other clubs as being the feelings of local supporters but the club have dissected this and seen through it. If you would like anything else answered please ask The answer may not be what the mods and others want but it will at least be an answer, which so far is more than anyone has given you.
At least I tried to give him an answer unlike your useless usual one liner. However don't let someone's opinion that differs from yours go by without being ridiculed or are you also going to delete and move more of my posts so that they are taken out of context and look like I started a thread that i had nothing to do with. Oh wait you don't do things like that do you? And you wonder why people leave this board geeez.
I get all that mate and understand how frustrating it is. The problem is that people like him are so used to running their 'business', without any interference, that they can't transfer that philosophy where people's feelings and tradition is involved. I'd guess that his feelings are, "I'll run the business, you watch the football." I also think that modern football supporters want to be the owner/chairman/manager/accountant to a greater degree than in the past. The problem is that the club holds most of the power and information so much of the supporters 'facts' are speculation. Not an easy situation for you, I agree.
It's like watching a car crash in very slow motion with the driver incapable or recognising the situation he's getting himself- and us- in.
Judging from the first response, I can see what you mean "See, meaningful and accurate summaries aren't possible. "
A very easy situation it just that some people can't just enjoy the football. They fail to grasp that their season tickets just guarantees them a seat at a home match, not a say in the running of the club as that would cost a lot more. If they want a say in the running of the club let them get bank loans and invest in the club after all according to them they are in the majority and with all them fans it won't take much will it? Anyhow got to toodle off as I am going to spend my money in the shops.
