Nah im just kidding, hes a good horse, should be a serious race. Defy Logic is the best bet tho, Cossack is evens about a 5/4 chance and Defy Logic is evens about a 1/2 chance.
Morning Assembly is in my tracker, i have just got an email saying he is racing tomorrow. I have no idea when or why i added him to my tracker though
Morning all, 1.00 Cheltenham Tijori 33/1 His novice win has worked out well with the 2 behind him finishing 2nd and 4th in the Persian War and the 4th winning last weekend at Wincanton. 1.35 The Liquidator 2.10 Dodging Bullets 3.15 Flaxen Flare 9/1 Wasn't beaten too far by Jezki in grade 2 last time and could be one to carry on improving this year. 3.50 Red Sherlock In my 5 to follow. Form of his Ascot bumper win has worked out well and is the one to beat 1.25 Cork Blow The Doors Off has strong form finishing 2nd to Very Wood on debut and is likely to be a short price so i'm going to take him on with Voluptueux 10/1 who has some half decent bumper form.
The Liquidator Dodging Bullets Sire De Grugy Court Appeal Faugheen a nice super yankee I like Carningli but that bumper is very competitive. Camden is strongly fancied to win the Fontwell slog with Boyfromnowhere being the danger. Mostly its about seeing how much of a marker THE LIQUIDATOR can put down for me today!
KASHMIR PEAK looks a solid bet in the Greatwood. Has the beating of Sametegal on Doncaster form and been going well on the flat. I also think KALANN could nick a place at a big price. FELIX YONGER was a very good 2nd to Simonsig in the Neptune and is a fair price against Defy Logic. HURRICANE FLY could give this lot a 20 second head start and still win. If you have 10k to spare to make a quick 1200 quid then why not do it. However if you rarely stake more than 20/25 on the nose then not worth the nervous tension for £2 odd Finally a left field bet on TATANIANO- won the same Chepstow race as Sire De Grugy back in 2011, off a similar mark and also by a wide margin. At 20/1 , receiving 10lb worth a very small interest, just in case he got anywhere near recapturing his old form
Nice winner in creepy yesterday, and today looks competitive also. I love to see quality racing on a Sunday especially from Cheltenham. I'm off to ride now then bookies then pub for a couple off pints of the black stuff and watch the racing.. my selections. 1.00 court in session 1.35minellaforleisure 2.40 oiseau de nuit patent 3.15 l'unique ew kalann cheers.
Got to be worried about Tam Edisons jumping in a race like this RV, has ability tho, always has. Martins other runner Redera might outrun his odds.
So then, what is coming second to The Fly, because with the prices on offer there's so good value to be had EW if correctly picking the second place. My pick would be MIKAEL D'HAGUENET at 20s
£10 roll up on Ruby's 5 short priced good things at the town of Punches, pays £249 at the mo with PP Why not stay frosty
My picks for the big two fields are: 1:00 Chelts - Copper Birch 20/1 & Home Run 28/1 ew singles and rev f/c 3:15 Chelts - Court Minstrel 14/1 & Get Me Out of Here 33/1 ew singles and rev f/c Also done a small accumulator on: 1:35 Chelts - Sea Lord 5/4 2:10 Chelts - Ted Veale 11/4 2:55 Font - Benvolio 11/10 3:30 Chelts - Waltzing Tornado 5/4
Dunno about anyone else but I would lay the potatoes off Sea Lord today against Liquidator and Lac Fontana. Think Liquidator has a real amount of potential and Lac Fontana is far more useful than people think, and is very solid in novice hurdle terms.
badger, we had HOME RUN for his sequence last year if you remember. I think this too far for him today and they are playing the handicap game!
L'Unique in the Greatwood Hurdle EW for me though note that he's taken a huge walk in the market this morning. Needs to improve massively on his seasonal debut. He did lose all momentum with a mistake towards the business end of that race so not without hope. Also little EW on Amok in the Conditionals race @ a whopping 40s. Good luck all.
I remember you putting it up last year, my knowledge of the sport is very limited don't really know or understand about handicap marks etc. I've just picked a couple at decent prices and I only ever play small stakes so worth a go. I've no doubt you'll be right about it but I'm not losing much
There's always at least one big priced winner at Cheltenham, I'm a celebrity get me out of here starts tonight so would be ironic if Get Me Out of Here wins the 3 15, I'm on 40/1
