Is there anyone else out there, like me,who is totally fed-up with reading about PDC and MON??They were both sacked as managers at our great club, and, yet, can't seem to let go!We have a quality Manager in charge of our club in Gus Poyet,so why don't the press accept it,move on,and forget about PDC and MON??They are history now as regards SAFC,so why doesn't everyone accept this? The press had a field day when we appointed PDC and stirred-up a load of left-wing crap which was irrelevant.and now they are trying to upset the applecart again. Why??What have the written press have against Sunderland??
I've thought about this quite a bit recently. The press do seem to hate us yet I don't seem to remember this for more than the last couple of years. Only conclusion I can come up with is we sacked Bruce for only one reason. His Geordie roots (Lets just ignore he's a **** manager) And then we sacked MON. A Sunderland fan. Disgusting till you look at our results then maybe, just maybe. You can see he had to go. Trouble is I'm talking as a fan...Not a over paid MON / Bruce loving Journalist.
i never thought i'd say, "great article" about a daily mail journo, but the guy has it nailed on, although h's a wee bit over the top about Carrick's infallible touch, as good as he is.
Its a good read mate, especially the footnote P.S. What a rollicking jape that was by Newcastle’s Steven Taylor, posting pictures of dim racial stereotypes on his Twitter account, with the message: ‘It’s always good to see you guys smiling.’ He has apologised but inevitably, it caused something of a stir and the player may be fined by the club. Which leaves us with a choice: either Taylor is a racist, or thick as a plank. Charitably, we prefer the second option.
