Fare enough, must have been the angle from where I was sitting as to me it seemed rangel passed the ball behind Pratley and he made no effort to get to the ball just held his arms up and let the forest player have the ball
Pratley's leaving is quite simply down to a fall out with Huw Jenkins, he made that quite clear in the press, when he was fed up of waiting to sign a contract, he felt left out and not wanted by the club, in other words he was snubbed by Jenkins, and in the absence of a contract from Jenkins, rightly or wrongly, business is business his agent went walk about to find a new team, have no problem with that, just another example of our amateur contact policy, Norway has been banging on about this for some time on the old 606, Pratley made a public statement: “I publicly made it clear last Christmas that I wished to extend my contract with Swansea as soon as possible. The former manager Paulo Sousa was aware of this and tried to get me a new deal, but nothing came forward from chairman Huw Jenkins." “I continued to ask for a new deal, but Mr Jenkins then said this summer that he was not in a rush to offer me one. I was disappointed with that stance and it made me reconsider my future." And who can blame him, I can't can you? and he's right, anyway all the best Darren!..................... please log in to view this image
I wish prats the best of luck at Bolton. He's given 100% to club for the last 5 yrs and nobody can argue that fact. Its a shame to see him go but as the saying goes ONCE A JACK, ALWAYS A JACK. I for one will give him a warm welcome back at the libery next season. S.T.I.D
Well, I'm waiting for the news that he's signed for Bolton .... strange how we've heard nothing in that regard; I would have thought it would be announced by now. What's keeping it quiet ... perhaps it doesn't exist.
