Don't suppose he's four putted from thirty feet like I did on Saturday? I'd scored one point after four holes, was a broken man. Finished very strongly though so be afraid, there's nothing to focus my mind like a little challenge.
I scored 36 points. Played exactly to handicap. Just 2 holes of poor club selection ruined my round and target of getting under 90. I will probably play **** now. I always seem to play badly when I play you.
Got 30 in the end, putted like a Neanderthal man on steroids for the first 12 holes, rolling some ten feet past. Very strange. Sussed the greens out in the end , no doubt those moss covered cabbage patches at Belmont will be buggers to read though!
Have a look at burghill valley golf club. I've heard it's a good course, its no where near the river and considering the rain we have had the last few days may be a better option.
Was having breakfast this morning next to the chap in 11th place at this; http://www.senior-golf-circuit.com/ Was trying to have a decent golf conversation but the other bloke there, from Swansea, kept butting in and papping on about sodding fishing ffs! Anyway, who would think they'd hold a pro tournament of any sort at that place, it's ****? You playing the golf this weekend?
Meant to be playing Sunday though the weather isn't looking favourable at present. We probably should give that course another crack.
In May, was thinking one of these in Cardiff; http://www.whitchurchcardiffgolfclub.co.uk/ http://www.radyrgolf.co.uk/pages.php/index.html http://www.cardiffgolfclub.co.uk/Home.aspx All are meant to be very good, Whitchurch being the best. That said, happy to stay local to me as there are enough good ones about.
Depends how you want to structure the whole shebang. Could do a Cardiff course on the last day as it's then not too bad a drive home for me. I really don't mind where I play. I play park land courses every week so doing something a bit different from those is probably a preference.
Yeah, **** it. No point driving too far, we could walk to Clyne or give Langland a shot, not played there in years. Consider this for December 11th? I know it's a drive but £18! http://www.celtic-manor.com/18-holes-for-18
I'd be up for playing there again. Ideally with my swing working. As it was ****ed when I played there last time.
They're being bit cheeky, the £18 is only available at 8.00am, it's £36 at 10.00 and £29 at 10.30. I can get two county cards though so it'd still be half that? Burghill would be fine though, just need to hope we don't get this blizzard that is being alleged for the next few weeks!
Go for it then, not too late as I have to get back for a Christmas concert that evening. Half ten the latest I reckon to make sure.
Will leave it a bit nearer the time to book as will have to pay upfront. So we would have to play whatever the weather. Playing this Sunday at sapey. It's a tricky course. Not going to have my new 5 wood in time either.
Right. I'm being allowed to have my birthday present tomoro. Do I go for the rbz 5 wood that matches my driver. Or the callaway x hot which I seemed to hit better. I'm leaning toward the callaway.
