I watched the Lads for decades when we would get excited about the likes of Tom Finney getting 10 minutes as a sub for Northern Ireland or whoever it was. These days we hear a lot of how bad the club is yet we've doubled our gates, played for years in the top flight and corrected the unnatural imbalance in the derby matches. Plus, we have various players out on international duty without unduly raising our eyebrows or interest. Funny old game mate.
