Folks, now the dust has settled on the first premier league derby I thought I'd ask you about your experience at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Cardiff have been making away fans welcome by giving them a little taste of their home from home. I believe they give out packs and have the staff dressed in the away team colours and sell local delicacies in the away end. Those of you that went how did you enjoy the hospitality offered on the day?

I shall make this my last post but it will be an honest one.
The staff dressed up just wearing black t shirts, they were not wearing Swansea colours but that is perfectly understandable. There is ample room on the concourse, there were a few outlets selling food and drink, one of which was only for drinks. There was a queing system and it worked very well, the staff were courteous and the prices were just what they usually are in football grounds. The one thing that did annoy me was having to show my ticket at half time going down to the concourse and then going back up for the second half. I just did not see the point. That's just a small point though and doesn't detract from the experience. All in all there was nothing really to complain about, the facilities are spacious and clean and the staff friendly, hope this helps

Thanks Dexter, glad that you had a relatively good experience but I guess you didn't get the feeling it was home from home but understandable given it was a derby game. I know the club mentioned in the press it requests shirts from the away club but not sure if it happens every time.

    This (says with gritted teeth)

Be churlish to say otherwise so I won't, that's an accurate assessment to be fair I thought we were treated at Legoland far better than a lot of other places, God it hurt to say that :steam:

Can I just add that they have great mirrors in the ladies toilets in Legoland...somehow they slim you down to look about half your normal size....I wanted to take one home.

That question to Phil has made my day. He struggles to go to the toilet let alone any games. The tight ****er watches them on the internet and Phil's idea of an away day out is a rissole and chips in Rossi's <laugh>

The last time I went to a Derby in Cardiff, we got a barrage of bricks come flying over the wall as we were leaving, and the police took their time to remove the idiots, not to mention how the police allowed them to get into such a position, so I don't do Derby's in Cardiff, though I've been to Legoland for Wales!.............<ok>

Dilli Blue is in fashion now that the Redtits have abandoned the colour, so stop living in the past, though I'm due a new cap, it's looking rather worn!............<cheers>

Er...how do I put this? Who gives a ****? With any luck our lot won't have to endure it next season as you'll be relegated.

    No offence. :)

Kj, could I request you refrain from posting on this thread if it is of no interest of you. While a few won't care, it is a genuine question and some decent feedback would be gained.

    Thankyou.

It is of interest to me though. I think it's a bloody cheek and am entitled to say so. This is the team that sent fans to the Liberty a few seasons back and destroyed the away end toilet block at a cost of £10,000 and you want to give them 'feedback'?

    Knock yourself out. <laugh>
