Bloody good looking bumper at Taunton tomorrow.

Assam Black ran a stormer on debut but will be short. Turkey Creek will be an each way price and looks the one to support. I'll do the rev forecast aswell for interest. Only small stuff.

Clonmel Oil Chase tomorrow Bob - thought that might have grabbed your attention?

That bumper has a Kris Kin gelding running, The Sweetener, but he showed very little on debut and will no doubt be going up in trip after this. The Tizzard filly would be my idea of an e/w prospect (although she probably won't meet Boris criteria) and the Pipe horse Minella Scamp would be my idea of the winner - showed up well behind Oscarteea and that looks like a respectable race with the second, Hello George, having won the bumper at Sandown on Saturday.

You'll all laugh at me but I think that ropey old bugger Mikael D'haguenet is worth a sneaky punt in the Clonmel Oil Chase. Don't ask me why, but I think this could be the season where he puts it all together over fences and, whatever happens after tomorrow, I think the livelier ground and the 2m4f trip should be spot on for him and I think he could take this at a silly price.

In the 1.00 at Ludlow I like the chances of the bottom one Saint Jerome with Choc on board and in the 1.30 Free Thinking would be a 6/4 shot in my book so anything much bigger than that will be taken. In the 3.30 Willpower is a full brother to Noble Prince and should be an interesting price on his jumping debut after showing bugger all on the flat for Mark Johnston.

I was at Warwick last week to watch my filly and saw GUESS AGAIN win the conditional with a bit up his sleeve. That was his first run for 10 months and he will be better for it. Has no penalty tomorrow so looks an absolute steal at 3-1.
I shall also be on SIGN OF A VICTORY for the forums second most favourite trainer in the Ludlow bumper at 4.00. Hendo has won this race three times in the last five years with Open Hearted, Wallace Monument and Flemensbond and this one showed up well in an above average Aintree bumper.

A real gamble (14's to 7's) taking place on DAYMAR BAY in the 2:30 Ludlow. Emma Lavelle is banging in the winners but this fella runs from eight pounds out of the handicap and has never jumped a fence in public. I am NOT saying it wont win but surely its a punt to be very cautious about!

Got to be with Texas Jack at 7s, although the fav could take a bit of catching. Always liked this horse and he proved himself top notch over fences last year, good first run under his belt in a race that didnt really pan out for him. Hopefully Arvika and Rubi Light set it up for him.

Noticed it myself earlier on and thought it was a bit weird to say the least. Wouldn't be my cup of tea at all and wouldn't surprise me if he was very weak in the market tomorrow.

Arvika Liggeioneire looks like one for the old "Lay King" system tomorrow although my one doubt is that the horse has a great record going right handed and looked a classy animal.

He has looked a monster right handed but they were good galloping tracks. I wonder if Clonmel is a bit too tight for this big striding horse tomorrow, and as we know the jumping can be a touch sketchy when not entirely happy out front on his own. (Jumps right handed so is a lay on any left-handed course this season)

Texas Jack comes in race fit and was an improving animal after being well beaten by that rival last season, so can close the gap- especially at this track.

Mikael D'Haguenet is probably more likely to pop up tomorrow than he is at a short price. Joking aside though, a clean round tomorrow with him receiving weight all round puts him right into the equation. I like Texas Jack and Mikael against the field for todays purposes.

Im not gonna let myself get drawn in to backing Mikael D'Haguenet tomorrow.....i therefore advise you all to back him!! He is my ultimate bookies benefit horse. Everytime i back him he falls or badly blunders and loses, then everytime i leave him alone he puts in a perfect round and wins.

One I am very keen on tomorrow is Leavethelighton in the first at Clonmel, 15/2 with BetBright(whoever the hell they are) the only betting available just now.

Another I quite like to a much lesser extent from the same stable is Lookoutnow 12/1 in the 3 mile handicap hurdle.

Good for you Boris. I'm happy taking each way about 3/1 shots let alone 4/1 if conditions are right.

I don't usually back horses under 3/1 but I go ew on pretty much everything, I figure something back is better than nothing even if it's a loss

    each to their own

    Leavethelighton 8/1 with 365

must be a hell of an e/w bet for those that way inclined

Very disappointing, head scratcher for me, sorry if anyone backed it.

If you watch two runs back, would have beat The Job Is Right but for nearly getting brought down at the last, and was 8 pounds better off with it today, so you can see why I fancied it. Jumps form.

Confident I will get my money back with this horse at some point tho, would be more angry if I bet it e/w because he stopped trying a mile out.
