I'll still back the group and get any thing with NoToHullTigers on it.

Unfortunately, there's two things we (who dislike the name change) can hope for. One is that the FA don't accept it. But I can't see it.

Failing that, City being relegated will end it for good.

I don't think it necessarily would. He started all this when we were in the Championship. Plus we'd be even more ****ed financially if we got relegated.

Unfortunately the old saying " The golden rule is he who has all the gold makes the rules" is still true.
I don't like it and a lot of you don't but its a fact.

Will leave it now.Tried to make genuinely felt points. No wonder the (quite possibly)majority of us do not join in the debate. Please look at how many turned up for your march to decide if you speak for all of us.
Oh did any one post the proof of OLM invitation?

bilge. the protest group members represent groups in which the majority in those groups agree with them. what part of 'democracy' don't you understand?

Whats this thing with OLM, he is a poster on here and I think a moderator. Read posts from way back. He went as part of the group, he didn't have a personal audience with Allam. If you don't think the group represented you then that's fine. They went to put their objections to the name change and did it very sensibly. They were representing those of us on here that are opposed to the name change. Maybe someone else could have put some stuff together about how the name change is a good idea and represented people like you. You never know they might have helped Allam out by doing some research of their own in the Asian Market to see if Hull Tigers is the key to financial security. It has been said before on here lots of times. No one has ever come up with any proof that this name change will work.
By the way, I am no relation to OLM, have never met him and am not influenced by him (just in case that is the next thing you will say)

I have accepted many opposing views on here, although when it comes to being impressed with you it couldn't be further from the truth. I have only described him how he portrays himself; just as I have with you. The difference is he is a bombastic, arrogant, ill-informed bully who forces his conflicted opinion on his paid advisors and customer base; whereas you are a complete excuse for someone who claims to be in-the-know on how to handle this tyrant. Listen to all of his interviews, take into account the bombastic tone and poorly understood knowledge of a situation of his own making. Consider that paid communicators are being overruled and bypassed so he can take front-of-stage; something he is very clearly unsuited for. No matter what your opinion on the name-change this should bother you, as it does me; life tells me that to ignore him is to encourage him. But your limp-twisted, arsehole-creeping advice will let him rant and rave, bluster and bludgeon the club's supporters into total gratitude for making OUR club an absolute ****ing laughing stock. We don't need fools such as you, we have one running the club.

No team to compete, no parachute payments. Players leave in the same way we got Aluko from Rangers. This is a load of bollocks on those two points alone. You need to revise your thought process.

You really are wet aren't you. He's acting to spite the fans now - even the local and national media (who are desperate not to take sides) are telling him that. Grow a pair and refuse to allow him to speak to you in this manner; regardless of your view on club name.

Just watched the City Of Culture video, very good.
Got me thinking about this name change.
We don't like change much in Hull.
    We are stubborn.
    We stand up for ourselves.
We don't like people taking the pi55, lying ect.
We are humble people who just want to get on with things.
All these are sold to the viewer during the video.
After living here for so long Mr Allam should have known all these traits.
He is a business man, now he wants to run the club as a business which he is doing fairly well if you look at it.
But, how many times have we heard that football has changed and that a club is now run as a business.
Financially I think we can all understand that, but a football club has and always will be a way of connecting a community, giving us a sense of togetherness and pride in supporting our team.
Without this part of a club then what is the point in carrying on?
As much as we need him Allam needs us all.
Allam has split the Tiger Nation, people will go and watch City whatever they are called.
Maybe he will lose a big majority of the old school fans, but he is clever enough to know we as fans will be replaced by the next generation of support who will only know Hull Tigers, this will be there team, and if they do support this team at least it will be a team from there own City.
We owe it to ourselves, and supporters who are no longer with us, to make our point and fight him all the way.
I honestly think this will be our last season as Hull City AFC supporters.
But for many there journey following Hull's only football team throughout there lives hasn't even begun yet.
Maybe its time to hand the baton over.
City Til I Die, but I never thought that City would die before me.

PLT you need to step away from this debate .. you are a mod .. your meant to sit back and action if necessary ... you involve yourself with your language then you are putting yourself firmly in one camp .. that's not how a mod works .... learn your place

Sorry to keep the debate away for a moment, but let's be honest here - why the hell should a mod take orders from you?

oh and by the way allam is talking about company name .. there are 3 different names with football ... company name , football club name ... and playing name ... as I said a while ago .. he can change the company name (done) and the football club name (will be done) .. the playing name is the big one .. lets just see eh ? ... Liverpool and Arsenal market themselves as a different name in the far east 'Liverpool Reds' and "London Arsenal" .. but on the league table stays the same ...

maybe all a fuss over nothing ?

report me , I have him .. his language is disgusting .. I understand he is angry , but a mod has to stay a certain way with his posts .. when it has more * than letters you know the guy (although passionate and I admire that) is not taking his role on this board correctly ... all it needs a another account to express views in that way .. I have done it myself on multi gaming forums when I have controlled them .. just not very professional (in my opinion , sorry if you don't agree)

His role as a mod has **** ****ity **** all to do with his opinion or how he should post. He shouldn't step back from any debate, the same with the other mods. They are first & foremost posters, the mod bit is (IMO) a thankless pain in the arse bit they spend their time doing for free.

Use the ****ing ****ing bastardy swear filter. Mods can swear too.
