Unless you've been going for 109 years yourself I don't think that's really relevant. After all, each of us has been supporting the Tigers for as long as we have, it's only an accident of your date of birth as to who has been going longest.
Is that why national journos have unanimously destroyed the idea with a smirk on their faces? Lineker, Hanson, Collymore to name a few. It seems that all experts on football matters think that this is an extremely poor idea. I have not seen anybody with a positive outlook apart from some City fans that would seemingly trust Allam with their lives.
Here's an off the wall suggestion, why don't we Ask Hull City council to change their name to Hull Tigers Council? That will stop him in his tracks!
