It keeps all SEVEN anti-name change / anti- Allam threads right up there where you want them doesn't it?

As a mod does it ever occur to you either to merge some of these or have one, two, three or even four stickys to keep them all in one place?

If you look at any other team's boards you see a good variation of thread topics (and mostly football related). When you come on here it's like attending the AGM of the Anti-Allam pressure group.

    In a word - boring.

It's nothing to do with boredom, you just don't like that this nonsense position of Mr Allam's which you and a couple of others have been defending has been exposed beyond any doubt now as complete bollocks.

Do you need seven threads to say that?

If anyone wants to post anything else of interest they'll of course be welcome to do so as always. Sadly most people are a bit pre-occupied with Allam's bullshit.

Then why don't you put a sticky or two up and suggest people put there thoughts on the same subject in the same place like we do with other stuff like transfer posts etc, so the board doesn't get filled with one topic?

But people are having separate discussions about a very big issue. They're not all one conversation. You've got an interesting thread going about tactics - but the only other threads people seem interested in talking about is Lewis's about Bovril and Mrs BMB talking about cats.

Are we really so short of space that we are only allowed a single thread on one of the biggest events of our history?

We try to limit stickies because they're annoying for people viewing on phones and stuff. You have to scroll down one page to get to the threads that are actually being used. If a thread is popular it stays at the top anyway. So we only use stickies for threads which need to stay at the top even when they aren't attracting posts, such as the prediction league thread.

I used to post on a political board until I got bored ****less with all the bitching. This board is getting to be a bitching paradise.
I agree it's a big subject and maybe you need 2 or 3 threads, but 7??

Craig, if you don't like it, why do you read these threads? I'm more than happy to have multiple threads of similar subjects, it's very easy to go to another topic. The fact that there are so many replies and responses show that people are interested.

    Agreed, Hull is too common.

Why are some people getting arsey about threads? It's one of the most controversial and biggest events in our history, it's bound to be talked about. Or can we not bear to see the good Doctor's actions questioned?

Your opinion not mine, I believe that he genuinely wants to leave a legacy to the City of Hull by giving them a successful football team that can stand on it's own two feet without him and his money, he may have gone overboard on some of his comments which in turn has upset a few fans, but he will never be forgotten that's for sure :)

As for Craig's sticky for CTID, I think he is right as I often use my phone and a crappy SLOW 3 connection and being able to bypass the stickies is a godsend, if I want to bypass all the City till I die stuff it takes a while.
As for your popular subjects being on top, surely you mean the argumentative stuff is on top i/e City Till I die stuff.
A lot of people claim that the majority of fans are against the Name change, well this is not strictly true as not 1800 on here were against it and the 5000 petition was made up of a load of other clubs support, this is just to balance some of the flowed arguments that have been used on here and other boards.
