All you need to do Ponders is not log on. That would be a great pity though. I for one enjoy your posts. The Mods have a difficult job to do, and had to deal with a very difficult situation. The forum was being dominated by one contributor, which was driving others away, and making sensible discussion almost impossible.

 

Thanks, FHB, but I want my membership terminated forthwith. I have buggered off a few times in the past, but I keep coming back, so I need that temptation removed.

Jonno is not being fairly treated and that is fact. He is not a run-of-the-mill poster for reasons largely out of his own control, so I for one will not tolerate his exclusion any longer.

I shall look for CAFC-related chat somewhere else.

 

I'm sure if you PM SuperC he'll give you a bit more insight into the situation than he would make public.

 

Unfairly treated? We extended more chances to JA than we would have done anybody else. Please don't insinuate we have harshly treated him as that is horribly inacurate. In fact, when everybody else was accusing him of being a WUM I pointed out that he wasn't as I knew of him from a club employee back in the early 00's.

If you would like to leave - I haven't come across a terminating of membership, but feel free to PM BRB (supermod) over on the Gills board and I'm sure he will be able to assist you further

 

I am insinuating that you have treated JA harshly, and it is not horribly inaccurate to suggest you are continuing to victimise him.

You know nothing about the guy, but you continue to exclude him because he creates a little extra work for you.

Pathetic.

 

I like Ackers but will not allow him on the forum I moderate as he is totally disruptive and will not listen to any instruction. Anyway he has just been let back on ITV which I am sure will end in tears. It really isn't worth falling out over.

 

Sometimes we will have to make decisions that are unpopular - but to say we are victimising him is way over the line.

I know Jonno, and I know there are reasons why he is unable to follow instructions and heed warnings.

People do not tend to be obtuse for the sake of it, so to ostracise someone for his/her lack of etiquette is a form of victimisation.

 

There is only 1 thing worse than a bully and that's an attention seeker

After my comments, I actually made the effort to seek out and meet with JA. I apologised to the man for my ill-thought words, and I now consider him to be a friend.

We all make mistakes, and I am happy to hold my hands up to mine.

Banning JA is a mistake.
