We are the champions of nausing November.

But are Spurs trying to emulate us?

From 2nd to 7th, and City and United next. After a £100m spend too.

They really miss Bale when they need a gamebreaker

Some really unexpected results this weekend! This gives us something I haven't seen for many years, i.e 8 teams who can all justly claim they are in with a shout at the title!

Spurs have a terrible team and manager and are only in the top half of the table due to a series of appalling penalty decisions.

I don't think Spurs have an awful team but they do have an awfully dull style of football which is probably down to their manager.

Absolute nonsense, nothing wrong with either the team or the manager. If terrible managers are your go, have a closer look at how ours has gone the last couple of years with some of the worlds top players. Both JM and AVB are top drawer managers. AVB was shafted by our gutless incompetent board. All he needs is time. JM is a self destruct merchant. All he needs is maturity, i.e. end childish egoism. When he does , imagine what he can do??

He is destructive and egotistical but that is his method of management and why he only lasts three years in each job. It is highly successful.

It is sheer speculation that if he lost that edge that he would be more successful. I can't ever see him changing: don't believe that Happy One spin for a second!

Time was not AVB's side, and his football is duller than Jose's. So maybe the board were right to get rid of him, unlike RDM and Carlo etc.

Even IF he succeeds at Spurs, and plays the attacking football, the press claims Roman craves, should we have regrets losing him?

He would never have worked at Chelsea in 2011 with all the established players (he may struggle with player power at Sours too) and some of them are still here, two seasons after he left!

AVB needed to build his career at a less-pressure club at Spurs - and succeed too - before jumping into the fire here! Who knows he may be back here one day?

    It was £110m actually <ok>

Bale hauled their arses out of trouble last season, without him they would have finished 8th. Despite pissing the money they got for him up the wall on average players, they are still struggling to win games and have to rely on dodgy penalty decisions to help them scrape through.

At least under Arry they played some attractive football, but under AVB they are as dull as ****ing dishwater. They deserve to finish outside the top four

It's not a fact if it's your opinion you buffoon.

I half agree, with your opinion. We certainly aren't as boring as Spurs.

I think we've done a reasonable job of grinding out results while bedding in what amounts to 12 new players into our squad (7 bought, 3 back from loan and 2 back from long term injuries). Our allegedly expensive squad cost much less than Chelsea's, Man City's and Man Utd's who have got the same number of points we have on average, and about the same as Arsenal and Liverpool's. How this shows we are boring or the manager is clueless I have no idea.

I fail to see how you not spending as much and having the same points as other teams makes your football exciting.

    Please explain.
