Taken from their post match write up:

Referee Mike Dean's leniency was on display once again in the build-up to the opening goal.

    Poyet salutes Sunderland 'perfection'

The official opted not to penalise Bardsley when he appeared to bundle over Milner, allowing the full-back to race on to Brown's long pass and curl a precise finish past Costel Pantilimon.

Bundle over? Milner did exactly what the BBC, among other, lambasted Ramirez for - he tried to stop Bardsley getting the ball and, instead of playing the ball, Bardsley was stronger - I expected a foul to be given but don't in a million years think it was a foul

Marcus, it was a bit like the Chelsea penalty yesterday, it should never have been given. Bardsley was stronger and wanted the ball more than Milner, if they give free kicks for that they will destroy the game.

I thought this was going to be about Seb's leg breaker that the ref somehow missed. A very lucky boy, them both.

Did you see it at full speed or did you need a replay to show how bad it was?
I only saw the challenge on a replay - didn't even look that bad on TV at full speed

I have no arguments on Larsson - he could easily have been sent off (maybe he's our "Cabaye" as that was nowhere near as bad as Cabaye's challenge on Colback in the Derby)

Are you saying Bardsley was a lucky boy (Which he was but only because the big teams normally get those free-kicks - never a foul in a million years) or Garcia on the receiving end of the tackle? (In which case <ok>)

No-one in the crowd thought it was even remotely nasty - as a matter of fact we thought it wasn't even a foul from where we were sat - got a text at half time saying that Redknapp and Carragher were talking about nothing else and I honestly couldn't remember the tackle - only way I saw it was a replay

Horrible tackle, I think we might moan that we had some harsh sending offs this year but by hell did we get off with one yesterday, a red card all day!

Agreed 100% but I don;t even remember the tackle from the game - I only saw it when watching it back - doesn;t condone it (and, as I said, no worse than Cabaye's on Colback 2 weeks ago but no-one is talking about that)

Micah Richards in the second half looks bad as well down by our box - that looked over the top of the ball to me but haven't seen it back TBH

It's been funny today listening to the "experts" spouting off
Our win is all City didn't do this, City didn't do that. Apparently we only won due to City's travel sickness. Nowt to do with our fine display virtually starving them of decent chances.
Newcastle on the other hand are poised to make an assault on the top six after a heroic display against Spurs. The only heroic display I saw was from Krul, who has never had a busier day in his life.

I thought that last night after watching MOD, Newcastle were the luckiest team this weekend, on another day it could have been a cricket score for Spurs.

I didn't get to go to our game yesterday vs Arsenal so I had the pleasure of watching all three PL games on Super Sunday. Quinn could barely catch his breath after the goal and appeared to lose his voice for a few seconds, which made me laugh. The worst thing though by far was the two skiprats Carragher and Redknapp in the studio. Constantly talking utter garbage, degrading smaller teams and going on as if they were both above every player on the pitch...who the **** were they? Pair of nuggets who spend their lives talking ****, speaks volumes that a 'crock' like Wes Brown probably has more medals than the pair of them combined and did you ever see Wes talking **** on TV when he wasn't fit to play?

With BT getting the Champions League games, Sky seriously need to up their game.

With reference to Bardsley's goal, nothing wrong with it. Milner needs to stay on his feet at this level.

I suppose the term 'smaller teams' is relative, but I can recall you lot coming to park the bus at Roker Park when we were both in the second division, trouble is, you still beat us 0-1.

Edit, just checked and it was 0-0, its my owld timers disease creeping in.

5 years ago we were a bigger club than City - no doubt. Someone has billions of pounds and comes in to buy your club it makes you a big club. Chelsea as well - a nothing team going nowhere until Abramovic took over. Go back over time and neither of these "big clubs" were bigger than Sunderland and Newcastle. We both always had bigger support and we have still (historically speaking) got more "top division winners" trophies in our cabinet than either of them. You could probably put Villa in the same bracket as Us and Newcastle - all big clubs but without someone investing billions we will remain as a smaller club in the league

It really makes you laugh doesn't it mate?

The ****ers on my stream commentary we're weeping & wailing about Silva being missing, poor City playing in midweek despite a squad of 1000's and having to play in the NE in November <laugh>
Where are they from, ****ing Barbados <doh>

BTW, I have a feeling we may have had a game in midweek but I'll leave it to the 'experts' to put me right.

I don't think it was that clear at all. The ball was loose and they BOTH jumped in for it. Neither player could have known where the other's leg was going to end up. Garcia comes in from Seb's side where he wouldn't have seen him clearly. A fraction of a second difference and it could just as easily been Garcia's foot coming down on Seb's leg.

The result of it WAS a potential horrible injury for Garcia, and that would have been unfortunate, but not intended.

I am willing to concede to one electronic concession in football but only in the penalty area. If the ref suspects an incident has happened he can blow up and the man in the box behind the goal or from a better angle can say what the offence was. Dive or heavy enough contact to force a player over - either way it is still a human that gets the say, but from a better angle than the ref.

Penalty is a direct free kick so has huge impact on game, dive is a yellow card and player must stand still with thumb in mouth while the opposition point and laugh at him.

It would make my day anyway..

What about the assault on Johnson in the first half, it was a nailed on penalty -not given when we were already 1-0 up?

**** all wrong with Bardo's challenge, he just wanted the ball more than Milner and to be fair, there wasn't a lot of complaining from the city players either.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was an interesting new channel!

If you replay this move and look only at Milner you'll see the truth ........ Milner puts himself in a position where he'll either hit Bardsley or the other way around.

Winning the ball was the last thing in his mind.

    Case closed.
