On the subject of the pitch, I find it unbelievable with the technology available that somebody at the club cannot look at the weather forecast and put the covers on the pitch 'just in case'. If my mother in law can warn me ''you will get wet at charlton on saturday'' how can the club not see that coming?! Especially with such a large travelling party coming such a long way. On a slightly more selfish note, I have paid £350 to play at The Valley in May for charity and would like the ground staff to take better care of the pitch in preparation for this!!!
