I didn't notice him dancing there Cyprus? Lol

I mean his overall persona is one of calm, assured and focused management. He is a man with a plan. The whipping the crowd up stuff is pure passion and that's the one thing I valued PDC for but that Poyet also has in bucket loads. However, without opening old wounds again, Poyet also has so much more to add than that which I admire and respect.

Cheers lad. It will be interesting to see how we fair against Chelsea and Spurs (his former clubs) in coming games. BTW, you let us down badly today mind? Had you down as a home banker.

Aye Poyet doesn't have the misfortune of seeing good performances ruined by schoolboy errors.
Even though JOS tried his best to do it again today. <ok>

  5. Don't tell me about it!
    <grr>

AVB has been a complete clown these past few games, setting us up all wrong. There's no excuse for it. He put things right in the second half, and to be fair, their goalie made 14 saves, the most made by any Prem goalie all season so far, but we shouldn't be losing to the Toon on our own turf. Not having spent the best part of £100 million.

But surely that's the point, if Krul hadn't been on his game you could have won that game 10-1 easy.

I'm sorry but JOS and Brown were simply awesome today MR. Awesome.

Lots of the schoolboys errors, imo, were caused by the frantic and at times scatterbrain tactics and club policy introduced by the former manager. Poyet has managed to scrub that massive error and introduce a plan that works. The players looked relaxed and comfortable ion their positions, playing better football and 2 league wins in his first 4 games is quit canny imo.

Cest I wasn't there and you know my thought of being at the match and stream/TV watching. Brown by a million miles was the difference today, Bardsley playing out of his skin and Jack supporting both defence and attack like the warrior he is. O'shea for me was his normal self, more confident that Brown was there but his normal self. He isn't the way forward, you know it, I know it, we all do. The fact that Wes Brown's there makes it all feel good for me as it will do a lot of Safc fans tonight.. <ok>

  11. I could make any goalie look good by shooting every shot straight at him.

The fact is, we didn't score. Krul isn't a superman; our attack was ****e.

It must be sickening for you this season mate.

A lot of money spent, Arsenal in disarray in the close season and you're 6 places behind them despite them losing.

We thought we'd be competing with Newcastle and they're going to finish well above us <doh>

It was a great result today and I can't believe that we did it without winning a corner-kick all game.Is that a record??

Two of JOS's clear cut mistakes led to chances for City, one of which Bardsley again put his body on the line to block.

  15. Yep, you've summed it up, perfectly, my friend.

Still, at least no one can label any of our respective supporters as plastics. There may well be more pain than pleasure in us supporting our respective sides, but at least the pleasure - on those rare occasions when it shows its face - is something special to savour.

Looks like both of us are going to have to wait a while, yet, though.

Bloody hell mate I hate Newcastle and would love to claim Krul was lucky and your strikers were ****e.
The truth is he made some immense saves.
The deflection save he made was unreal.

Sorry but you are just blinkered against JOS if you can criticize that performance today. Paulpowersleftfoot has just posted a City perspective and he singled out JOS and Brown as being crucial for us today.

I am an unashamed fan of JOS and in a settled back 4 and team he looks every bit the top class player he is. If we are to escape the rot this season, he will be a vital part of the machine for me.
