    Great card at Navan.

1.20 This is a tough assignment for Minella Foru but I love this horse and think 2/1 against the odds on jolly is great value.

Bob, some interesting runners from the Gollings yard at Market Rasen tomorrow! Any info? RUSSIAN GEORGE is possibly well treated in the conditional??
SHANTOU MAGIC 1.40 is 6-4 on the tissue. If he is odds against its a wheelbarrow job!

Going to be out cycling tomorrow, so will give my tuppence worth tonight. At ffos las Richard Lee sends Ravens Brook into a handicap chase on a seemingly stiff mark, but there is good reason to suspect that there is alot more to come from this animal--he has some strong form in the book from last season--will relish the trip and ground--allied to Lee's excellent strike rate there, i think its worth the bet at likely odds.

At market rasen, Bar de Ligne appeals as a lively alternative to the fav, loves the course, had a pipe opener to get the buzz out of him the other week--can see him making (trying) all. Good luck whatever your choice !!

Good little Navan card and that's where my selection runs.

Mala Beach 2/1 finished off last season with his daylight robbery victory over that loveable little ball of energy that is Defy Logic, who himself started off his chasing career with a good win last week. That race was very memorable as Defy Logic, as is his norm, set off like a scalded cat and with about a furlong clear at one point only to be collared by Mala Beach on the run to the line. (It was quite reminiscent of one of my all time favourite races, when the warrier Beef or Salmon at the age of 11 collared the poor old Listener on the run in to land his historic tenth Grade One). Mala Beach's main opponent is the veteran Captain Cee Bee whose been a great animal down the years but surely is vulnerable here to the younger horse especially giving him weight. The Dediguot is returning to hurdles and I'm never that keen on chasers doing that.

Away from the horses I think Arsenal are a really decent price at 23/10 against Man Utd. If they play like they did against my side last Saturday, or against Dortmund midweek, I don't think they'll have any difficulties against a very ordinary side, which this season Utd are.

Heavy going at Ffos Las today and two that will relish congitions are TAKE OF SHOCS 2.00 and VICTORS SERENADE 2.30.
VICTORS SERENADE is being readied for a tilt at the Welsh National but a hurdles win won't harm the cause!

Good morning all rememberance sunday wear it with pride (I am not being offencive or descrimative so please dont moan if you dont care).
Lets have some winners on this shocking day of racing please.
A little patent at ffos for me wa going to be a lucky 15 but little jimmy who goes well in heavy condition has bee withdrew so hence patent
230 abnaki could and should have the edge
305 handsupfordetroit looks to have the upper hand here
335 powerpackjack looks very good value at 6s with sam onboard who should go closer than odds suggest
    good luck all

Celtic game yesterday the only 1 all around the UK that didnt have hold a minutes silence. Disgrace if you ask me, makes me embarrassed to say i live around the area frankly.

On to the horses. Not much stands out but interesting to see McCoy jump over the water for 3 rides for the boss. Although the first 2 have obvious chances i reckon the 1 hes keen on especially is the 3.25 and Marlbrook. Won a point to point easily and then demolished a field in a maiden hurdle in march.

    Ha. Always the way.

I've not heard anything from Steve yet about his runners today Stick but judging by the way his first ran i'd not touch the yard.

Not great racing but I have been waiting for ITALIAN MASTER 2.15 Winc to run for Dan Skelton. He has been a chaser in the making and his disappointing hurdles form leaves him fairly well handicapped. He might be top weight here but it is not a strong event, and I think he has a cracking chance at around 10/1 on the exchanges. He is a big scopey son of Milan who Nicholls earmarked as one to look out for when he first had him, so a chance of scenery and another summer on his back will hopefully see this one progress right up through the weights.
