Would be so funny if they bottled it again. On another Championship note though - What about this Danny Ings at Burnley? 14 goals in 19 games so far and he's only 21. I doubt they would consider selling him in Jan, but maybe if they fail to go up he could be an option for us in the summer.
If we're talking Championship strikers I'd still rate McCormack. He got 4 against a decent Charlton defence today and everything I've ever seen about him says he is a natural finisher. He poaches, he works hard and he's got a great strike on him. £7+million on Rhodes or £2 on McCormack, no contest.
I've been singing McCormacks praises for years now, he should be playing in the prem. Danny Ings I don't really know about, never really seen him play. Nice numbers he's got though.
For £2million he wouldn't even be a risk. It's getting to be a curse at City, we need to find a natural goal scorer somewhere ... anywhere!
Ings would be my pick on a gamble. Mccormack is not a full on striker but could be useful, especially if we lose Aluko.
I'm an admirer of McCormack and Ings' stats sound good. I'd be happy with either of them signing for us.
Impressive numbers when you consider a mammoth portion of those apps are on the wing. He's a classy player, I wanted us to sign him when TWS got him, and I'd have had him every season ever since.
He's the sort of player who'd replace Aluko nicely. Chazz pointed out that Sagbo can score but isn't a lone striker. McCormack would be a great partner to give him some ammo. As well as his goals he gets a fair few assists too.
Why the **** anyone would care about this is beyond me. It's a team who isn't a rival in a lower league. Pathetic.
Bummy, it's called "banter". It's ok when "we" do it, but when "they" do it, we have to stand behind our big guns of PLT and DMD. Guns might not be the right word there, feel free to insert your own.
Heh, I actually don't mind Leicester. I'da been a lot happier if TWS had lost yesterday tbh. My Derby supporting mate will be 50-50 on Monday at work too now thanks to your result.
Because their manager is a ****. When Pearson's gone I'll go back to not caring about Leicester, but until then I want them to lose every game they play. Call it pathetic if you like, but he stole a season and a half of supporting Hull City away from me and watching him fail in the lower leagues is most definitely a source of amusement for me. If I'm honest I just hope he gets sacked and the **** never works again. Scrolling down to the Championship section to see how he's doing is a real pain in the arse.
Pearson is a ****. I hope he fails and is discredited as a football manager. I enjoy hating in football terms.
