SIS when we were on the original BBC606 I was amongst the first to say Pulis was a bullshitter and taking us nowhere. I used to get flamed for it. Again we are probably amongst the first to say Hughes is taking us nowhere but down and getting flamed again. Yeah i agree he has not been given time and i agree you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. But I know someone that has the fight in them and someone that is a bottler and Hughes is a bottler. We have the players to be much higher than this and even Mr Negative Pulis got more out of them than Hughes. When we signed Jones all Sunderland fans warned us he was moody lazy and ****e and we did not believe it. Fulham fans and QPR fans warned us about Hughes and again we disbelieved it. I'm not wanting to come across as constantly negative but Hughes was a great player but a ****e manager!
Sorry about that chaps, not quite sure where we pulled that second half from! Would much rather Fulham or West Ham went down instead of you guys. The table is so tight though that a couple of decent results can pull anyone out of trouble, and equally push others towards the drop. Long, long way to go yet!
I look forward to us getting relegated so that waddo and SIS can go back to supporting MAN utd, that is all.........................and the proper fans can get back to the brit, not like SIS even knows where that is..................................
Waddo & SIS I said many a time I would still be supporting Stoke long after TP went. I still am. Hughes should not be under pressure as yet but given support. His time at QPR was awful. He has changed the team and the way we play. I was disappointed to see Whelan played last week and having listened to Adam on Thursday at Sky in FFL I believe he wants to play and succeed with us. The commute he has from Blackpool however I do not think will endear him to his colleagues. I do think we have a chance of getting a point tomorrow and do hope we go for it., Cris Get behind the team and shout. I have missed games since September but am up again for Sunderland so the in the library I will get them going!!!!
Ricc I've never supported Man United in my life mate nor would I. I've been a Stoke fan since the 60's and have countless momentos and souvenirs to prove this. Give it 3 or 4 months and you will be saying the same things we are now. I do hope you prove me wrong though as I for one do not want us to go down. Hughes is not a good manager and those fantastic signings he made I doubt he even had a hand in them. Deja Vous from the early Pulis out days when the Oatcake was split with the "Rimmers" and the "****stains" as they were called on there. That board is now split too. Like I say i hope I do get a huge slice of humble pie but for now i can't see it!
I think we are all missing the point. I don't remember many wanting Hugh's and I don't remember many wanting TP to stay. I don't believe anyone is saying that where we are and the results are acceptable. Maybe the blame or attack should be aimed at the people who made the decisions and not the pawn or the fans?
Cris I'm a season ticket holder remember and also travel away so I'm always 100% behind the team. I just get fed up of the same old dross week after week. I thought when Pulis went things would be different. To me I'm watching the same garbage with virtually the same personnel with the exception we pass a bit more. It's still ****e football with no end result and we are fast becoming the laughing stock of the prem!

Ricc your getting personal now. Neither myself or SIS have insulted you and like I said before I've always respected your opinions before now. I pay my money to watch my club and that gives me the right to voice an opinion. I turn up I pay and I cheer and sing, that's my support! Maybe if you went to more games and wasted £40 each time in doing so you would probably be as ticked off as I am!

Like I say I support my side every week as I have always done so, if I was not bothered about the club I wouldn't be moaning. As regards you being ticked off with this forum the Oatcake is exactly the same just as the facebook Stoke pages are and also Twitter. Pulis divided the fans and now Hughes is doing the same. That's whay the Britt is so quiet these days because so many people are sick of the same old ****e being turned out!
the brit is so quiet because of the glory boys that is all, we had football like this for years waddo as you well know. As soon as we are relegated the brit will be noisy again, as daft as it sounds, far too many glory hunters
I agree with that too as I sit in the Q railing stand and see different faces every week and no one there sings because they don't know the songs. The boothen End and South Stand are quiet too and that's where the hardcore Stoke fans sit! The crowd is mainly quiet through lack of goals and nothing to cheer about! More goals will get the crowd going again!
Them seven goals were not scored at the Britt so that defeats the argument about the home crowd being quiet!
Waddo I post on the Oatcake as well and I do think the majority of comments are quite basic. My latest tonight in support of Charlie Adam from which I expected a real slamming has not seen any reaction. A lot on there is rubbish. Yes at the moment there is a lot moaning. I do not doubt for one moment you support the team to the full. I will always try to be optimistic. Hope to meet sometime!
