    Hughs form was split -

    Wales - Excellent
    BB - Excellent
Man City - Fair (and probably unjustified in being sacked but proved that big money signings were not his thing)
Fulham - Good ( but showed a lack of loyality or thought he was bigger than the club)
QPR - Awful - (compounded his Man City exit and proved that he couldnt spend money, or play his way out of a dog fight)
Stoke - ?????? (verly little money spent and the signings have been positive additions, better football and equal results to the previous manager but still making questionable selections)

Getting more fed up with the Hughes stalkers than with the team position.

    O.K. guys
I have NOT posted anything at all since the Saints game why you may wonder?

For Christ's sake, I DID NOT WANT Hughes here either but, as Ric rightly say's. Give Hughes a chance!
Makes me smile when QPR fans come on here giving it the (Hughes is crap et all) that is utter bollox... it's nothing to concern them that (he is now OUR Manager.
It's like they are gloating because in (some Stoke fans eyes) we are S**T, Our player's as a squad are **** and Hughes is to blame, eg he is in some eyes ****

Well let's get something straight F F Sake.
Pulis WAS FACT even worse we've ALL said HE WAS. And, to a fan we ALL wanted him GONE. So did all those rival fans tell us. PULIS is a T**T he's useless you will go down. Paddy Power WTF? YES he kept us up but at a COST.

Which is where we are NOW guys. I am so impressed with Arnautovic, Assaidi and to some extent with Ireland (he is NOT fit yet) like Hughes give him a chance.

We have some excellent player's.. Cameron IMO after Begovic our best player this season. Here's the BUT.

PULIS left whoever came in with 2 thirds of a Squad which we all KNOW was and still is NOT GOOD ENOUGH. So to finish I am forkin sick to the back teeth of all the NEGATIVATY on this board when FACT IS, Hughes had very little to IMPROVE with did he? The player's he has signed are far better than those PULIS ever did.

STOP moaning, LOOK at the teams we HAVE PLAYED (Norwich) the exception we were awful that day. And someone PLEASE TELL ME why they think Hughe's is NOT the right man. Even worse, SOME on here seem to think we're fooked before Xmas. Apart from Norwich who are pts wise similar to US. HAVE we really been played off the park ONCE and WELLL beaten, I'm not including the Arsenal AWAY game because, LOOK at what they are doing and please get a GRIP and SUPPORT the TEAM. Not just MOAN on here. RANT OVER.

    Pott's <ok>

I disagree with your comment that Hughes was excellent for Wales. Yes he had some great results, but he had probably the best Wales squad ever. Having got those results he still didn't get us through the qualifying stages. Why? Because in two critical matches (Serbia away and Russia at home) he reverted to playing negatively. We lost both games.

At the time we were good enough to win both games - but Hughes's fear as a manager took over and we blew it.

no offense but even the best Wales squad ever was never going to beat Russia, Ramsey was nothing like he is now and so it all lay at Bales feet.

Fair enough mate, If you want to believe that then thats fine. Good luck to you.

His record is actually fairly shocking but we all said the same thing when he managed us.

Facts are..you have to give him a chance..you have no choice. I just hope it doesnt blow up in your face.
You have gone from a team under Pullis that nobody wanted to play against and always feared a battle..to a Mark Hughes team that has no fear factor what-so-ever.!
If it works for you this season then great. If not then you'll look back on the many who have warned you.
I have no need to gloat (as mentioned earlier) as we arent even in your division. Id be willing to put a bet on with you though, that one way or another..we will both be in the same division next season. Where do you think that will be?
Good luck & hope he doesnt undo all that hard work you have achieved over the past few years.<ok>

The bit about being feared and now we are seen as an easy 3 points is the bit that grates me!

Then I appolgise as it wasn't meant to offend, but I can only call it as I see it from the outside.

Maybe a few other posters from other clubs that post on here might like to comment on that statement.
i think its the fact that everyone always knew what to expect when they played TP's Stoke side. A hard physical aerial battle was always on the cards but you also have some usefull ball players. TP obviously decided on a style that wa going to keep you in the Prem and establish you. He appears to have stuck to that style and like it of not-It worked !
now you have MH who has no particular style of play, is very arrogant (ask any former clubs supporter) and makes some baffling decisions (your own posters have already commented on that.
Most teams will now visit stoke thinking they have nothing much to fear. Whats to fear from a manager thats achieved nothing as a manager 7 quits when the going gets tough? The rumors of dressing room bust ups, player complaints, dire tactics have all been commented about him on the Fulham, Man City & QPR boards before.

The one thing I just csnt understand is how he ever got to manage another Premiership club so soon? If i was running a used car lot I'd have him as my senior salesman because if he can sell him self to your owners then he can sell anything.
Wouldnt you love to have heard what was said in his interview considering what he had done in his previous job? Pure comedy gold !!
Anyway enough rambling. Im sure we'll find out in the end.
    Good Luck <ok>

Waddo I suspect it grates as with me because we could bee heading in that direction and as you have said we have become a laughing stock certainly on MOTD and Final Score

OK we are not an easy 3 points yet but as Queenslander says we are no longer feared because teams no that we can not score as long as MH has a hole in his a**e and they can therefore have a go at us

The fact that the Brit is so quiet suggests something is wrong and whilst I see the logic in giving MH until Janto see who he buys assuming he is given funds it could be too late because even if he brings in new players it willtake time for them to settle in which we may not have especially if morale is low and of course assuming anyone half decent wants to join us

Thus we are stuck with MH because even if PC were to fire him we would not be an attractive prospect other than to managers desperate for a job

QED we must support MH for now but that should not prevent us from criticising him

No one feared his from Xmas 2012, the bear pit lost its strength along time before Hughes got here!

Smithers I agree about the Bearpit losing it's loudness and ferocity but disagree that we were to be feared on the field from Christmas 2012. Yeah that's when the wheels fell off but no one knew back then what a terrible run we were going to have. I still say now that Pulis purposely threw those games as he knew what was coming!
