Is it just me that hasn't been that impressed with Shorey? I mean he isn't **** but hasn't really impressed. Hoping Cunningham has a good game and keeps his place.
Good win, and it's now 3 wins out of 4. Nice to actually be in the draw for Round 2 - we usually go out at the first hurdle!
A reminder that the last 2 games were vs Crawley and Dagenham who are 2 teams that are relatively new to the Football League. Close but no cigars, or praise, for beating teams like that.
Relatively new to the football league, so what...some people are never satisfied, even winning with clean sheets too & still no praise for the team & SO'D!!!
My point is that we are going to have to beat teams way higher up the evolutionary scale to survive in this division. I am not on a downer for SOD, or the lads, just a realist facing the facts ,and when the latest positive results can be seen to be the building blocks on which we can improve our lot in life then I will be here with my positive thoughts. Next week at Tranmere will possibly show us that the improvement, and belief, is on the up and up and let's hope for the best.
Totally agree Shiny. Very average for one who got an England cap. We looked much better with Cunningham at left back.
