Sunderland Sunderland have scored three own goals this season, which is the same as the other 19 top-flight clubs combined. The Black Cats have gone 14 matches without a clean sheet. A quarter of the red cards in the Premier League this season (three of 12) have been awarded to Sunderland players. Their two red cards against Hull City last weekend marked only the eighth occasion that a team has been reduced to nine men in the first-half of a Premier League game. Sunderland are the only team that this has happened to on two separate occasions. Manchester City The seven different goalscorers in their 7-0 win over Norwich equalled the Premier League record for one side in a match. That result equalled their biggest top-flight win (7-0 v Burnley in December 1968 and 7-0 v Bolton in March 1936). David Silva has created more chances this season (27) than any other top-flight player. Manchester City have scored more goals (28) than Sunderland (24) have had shots on target this season. Nice to see they've picked up on our strong points http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24792966
I usually like reading the build-up reports. Gets me going for the weekend match. After reading that though, my piss is well and truly boiling.
Until they rename Radio Newcastle, Radio North East, or something more representative, I hold the BBC's opinions in pretty low regard. Good at supplying information, their opinions they can shove where the sun don't shine...
Have we any strong points?????? The main highlights of our season so far have been tales of misery and woe!
I refuse to listen to it because of this, and have wrote numerous letters to the BBC to air my views on the matter.
O/T Reg, I'll send you a photo via text over the weekend so you can see how far we have brought Lollie on. It's all slow but progress..
