An outside bet might be 2-0 against Tranmere, where we missed about 5 or 6 great chances but our general performance was top notch.

For me, the comeback from 2-0 down against MK Dons at home was the day I was confident we would get auto.

Brighton away. Immense pressure given that Huddersfield had won the day before, we were playing the league leaders who hadn't lost at home and we thoroughly deserved the win that day.

Voted for Blackpool because that was the most enjoyable game I got to last season. Would have gone for MK Dons, but first half let us down. Really enjoyable game as well. So many important games, but the Brighton win because it showed them who really was top in the South (pause for outrage), and the Huddersfield game because it turned out to be the most crucial in the race for auto.

Thought we were pretty brilliant against Bristol Rovers when we won 4-0, does it count because Mr. Pardew was in charge?

If not that it has to be the Oldham game, because that could of been into double figures!

Gotta be Oldham away for me. To go to that ****hole up north (both the ground and the place), on a tuesday night, against a side who weren't doing badly at that point, and absolutely thrash them, well it was the best i've seen Saints play since THAT game at Wolves.

i vote blackpool as prem opposition and we totally outclassed them, also we'd made changes to our squad too, i didn't think the Mk dons was a good performance. I mean in the circumstances of the game were huge and it was a remarkable turn around, however i don't feel we played that well just got that luck with forte being in the right place at the right time

Funny, I went to THAT game at Wolves and if I recall correctly, wolves were clapped off the pitch and their fans were bemused by the fact they had played superbly and got stuffed 6 nil. It was my son's first away game and I remember thinking after about 25 mins "FFS saints please improve and get a point from this incase my lad didn't want to go away daying again.

We just hit the net with each of our 6 shots.
