I know shaks doesn't agree, and I don't like Keane, but the appointment has give Irish football the kick up the arse that was needed. I'm actually looking forward to watching a few games now rather than dreading them
Well I ain't happy, but at least I've an excuse not to watch them. O'Neil I've no problem with, but wtf are the scum supporting fai doing appointing that traitor, crap ex manager, ex scummer........
I was actually typing my comment before I saw yours Eire. But it's not just his past association that annoys me, it's the fact that he did nothing as a manager, he's slagged off everyone from the fans to the players.
Eire/Shaks, you wait till you hear who they've chosen as the trainer - O'Hare O' Dryer!!! Should liven up their dressing room at half time - MON looking sheepish with a forlorn look & woe is e for I am undone & then in walks the ex Scummer and O'Hare O'Dryer right behind him. 2nd half, out they march & stuff Germany 4-0!!!
In comparison we have not got a better team by a long way, we seem to get players motivated and settled in a paticular role, then they are off e.g. Max, Snodgrass, Beckford etc we need to start putting a run together, tempt players in the Jan window, and push on in the play offs and hopefully win it into the Prem, its a big call but its time we had a bit of luck on our side. Once broke a bone in my foot on the way to ER back in the 80's, happened under the viaducts near the train station, a scouser head butted my foot had to get a taxi to the ground, I always enjoyed that walk from the Tapps to the ground on match days
If you guys keep trying to land MWS with the SBA then toys, dummies and anything else will be thrown from the blue pram.
Millwall Steve Soppy Bollocks Award You should call in on the wall board it's where we give a bit back, for all the helpful advice tc and mighty give here. Besides that sometimes it is less depressing to look down on our little friends than look in the mirror. Consider it a bit like care in the community!
Do we think Paul Green has ran out of appearances for us? Do we think if he plays a few more games he triggers a new year extension like brown did? strange how he can feature so much early on then all of a sudden get left in the development squad to rot
I think that's because when everyone's fit, Green just doesn't warrant a starting spot. Brown would appear to be the defensive sub of choice (good decision imv), and Green wouldn't qualify to appear as a CB or as a L or R back. Don't think his days are numbered as he may well still have something to offer. But with the rise of Mowatt and Murphy, Austin being Cptn and in a league of his own, and Byram/Warnock as WBs, Green's chances of starting are looking very limited.
Looks like the club are banning snooker. First White, then Brown not getting a lot of games and now Green and pink went back to the states
Afternoon all Green needs to remember how to actually pass. We have so many midfield players if an offer came in for any on the fringe I think they will go. Anyone remember Norris? Warnock signed far too many 'do a job' types. Are we going to see Pearce as wing back at Charlton or is Warnock going to be fit? Shame we let White go out as I think this could have been his last roll of the dice playing in a position that is suited to him, but I guess McDermotts thinking if he cant cross a ball then whats the point.
Morning All, Good one this, I'd go for a 4-4-2:- Kenny Byram Kisnorbo Lees Warnock Snodgrass Howson Austin Gradel McCormack Becchio Subs Ankergren Naylor Murphy Johnson Beckford
Pugh will get a chance at lwb, and to be fair might prove decent in the role. I liked Aidy but it became clear he didn't deliver end product anything like often enough.
